⚔️ U.S. STRIKES IRGC TARGETS IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ AS WASHINGTON AND TEHRAN CONTINUE NUCLEAR TALKS

🎯 U.S. OPERATIONS IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: U.S. aircraft struck two IRGC Navy speedboats near Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, reportedly killing at least four Iranian personnel.

According to U.S. officials and Fox News, the strikes targeted IRGC vessels allegedly laying naval mines and missile launch platforms assessed as threatening American aircraft. U.S. forces also reportedly struck a SAM site in Bandar Abbas after it targeted American aircraft.

A CENTCOM spokesman described the operations as “self-defense attacks” conducted in southern Iran on Monday. Senior U.S. officials stated the strikes were defensive in nature and did not signal the collapse of the ceasefire framework.

🚢 STRAIT OF HORMUZ SHIPPING SECURITY: Conflicting reports later emerged regarding U.S. naval activity in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. Navy had resumed escort operations under a renewed “Project Freedom” mission and was expected to assist approximately a dozen vessels in the coming days.

A U.S. official later denied the report in comments to Al Jazeera, stating American forces were not currently escorting commercial shipping through the waterway.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the strait “needs to be open” and described disruptions to maritime traffic as “unlawful,” “illegal,” and “unsustainable.”

🏛️ U.S.-IRAN NEGOTIATIONS: President Trump is expected to convene a full Cabinet meeting at Camp David on Wednesday as negotiations with Iran enter what officials described as a critical phase.

According to Fox News and The New York Post, discussions are expected to focus on recent U.S. military operations, ceasefire negotiations, the nuclear agreement, and security concerns surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump stated that Iran’s enriched uranium would either be transferred to the United States for destruction or destroyed in coordination with Iran at an agreed location.

🌍 QATAR TALKS AND FROZEN IRANIAN ASSETS: A senior Iranian delegation arrived in Doha to discuss Tehran’s frozen assets held in Qatar.

The delegation reportedly included Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Araghchi, and the governor of Iran’s Central Bank. Iranian estimates reportedly place the frozen assets at approximately $12 billion.

The visit followed reports claiming Qatar offered $12 billion to help facilitate a permanent settlement between Washington and Tehran, though Doha strongly denied the reports.

📃 REGIONAL RESPONSES: Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei claimed Israel was approaching “the end” of its existence and warned that regional states would no longer serve as shields for American bases.

Separately, reports indicated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan rejected President Trump’s proposal for regional states involved in the Iran negotiations to join the Abraham Accords.

🛰️ IRGC CLAIMS AGAINST U.S. AIRCRAFT: The IRGC accused the United States of violating Iranian airspace in the Persian Gulf region and claimed Iranian defense units shot down an MQ-9 drone after what it described as “careful intelligence monitoring.”

Iran stated the UAV was intercepted at dawn using a new IRGC air defense system.

The IRGC also claimed it tracked and engaged an RQ-4 drone and an “invading F-35 fighter jet,” stating missile fire forced the aircraft to withdraw before completing its mission.

The IRGC Aerospace Force released footage it said documented two separate air defense incidents over the Persian Gulf and southern Iranian airspace.

⚠️ IRGC CEASEFIRE WARNING: The IRGC warned against any ceasefire violation by the U.S. military and stated that any Iranian response would be considered “legitimate and certain.”
