🚁 IAF REPOSITIONS APACHE SQUADRON TO NORTHERN ISRAEL: The Israeli Air Force has completed the transfer of Squadron 190, the “Magic Touch” squadron, from Ramon Airbase to Ramat David after approximately 25 years in southern Israel. The squadron operates AH-64A Apache attack helicopters, known in the IAF as “Peten.”
The IDF says the move reflects lessons from the October 7 failure and is intended to improve attack-helicopter availability for border defense by distributing combat helicopter forces between northern and southern Israel. During the war, Squadron 190 operated on multiple fronts, striking terrorist targets, eliminating terrorists and supporting maneuvering ground forces. It also carried out air-defense missions, including interceptions of UAVs launched toward Israel during Operations “Rising Lion” and “Lion’s Roar.”
IAF Commander Maj. Gen. Omer Tishler said the squadron made difficult decisions on October 7, using firepower to defend communities, eliminating hundreds of terrorists and saving lives while operating alongside civilians and ground forces. He described the relocation as part of the Air Force’s investigation and implementation of lessons from the war. Ramat David Airbase Commander Col. A. similarly said the investigation reinforced the importance of attack helicopters for border defense and ground-force support, while Squadron Commander Lt. Col. A. said the unit is bringing its operational experience north while maintaining its mission and fighting spirit.
🏥 IDF SAYS HAMAS IS USING NASSER HOSPITAL FOR INTERROGATIONS AND TORTURE: According to the IDF, intelligence indicates that Hamas Internal Security Forces and military intelligence are conducting interrogations inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis as the organization seeks to reinforce control over Gaza residents amid declining public support.
The IDF says interrogations are taking place in the Yassin building on the second floor of the outpatient clinics, with the hospital also being used for torture, extortion and governing activity unrelated to its medical role. Additional interrogations are reportedly conducted in a building that previously served as hospital offices, a cafeteria and later a prayer room.
According to the IDF, Nasser Hospital continues to function as central Hamas military infrastructure in southern Gaza, with patients and staff witnessing a permanent presence of Hamas terrorists, including masked operatives. The military says the activity endangers patients and medical personnel and forms part of a broader Hamas practice of exploiting hospitals, schools and other civilian facilities. It also released an illustration identifying the facility inside the hospital and said the military use of hospitals violates international law.
