🌍 U.S. STRIKES ACROSS IRAN AS FIGHTING SPREADS THROUGH THE GULF

🎯 U.S. expands military campaign inside Iran: U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed another wave of precision strikes on July 12 targeting dozens of Iranian military sites across multiple locations. According to CENTCOM, the operation was intended to degrade Iran's ability to threaten international commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz by striking air defense systems, coastal radar installations, missile and drone capabilities, and small military boats. The operation involved fighter aircraft, naval vessels, one-way attack aerial drones, and, for the first time, one-way attack sea drones.

🛰️ Iran reports widespread impacts: Iranian media reported strikes in Sirik, Chabahar, Bandar Abbas, Kermanshah, Mahshahr, Ahvaz, Dezful, Behbahan, Omidiyeh, Andimeshk, Abadan, Shadegan, and along the Ahvaz-Haftkel highway. A telecommunications tower near Taheroui village was reportedly struck, while air defenses were activated in Mahshahr and Kermanshah.

Khuzestan's deputy governor said U.S. projectiles struck eight counties early Monday. Officials confirmed multiple impacts but denied reports that Ahvaz Airport or the Shalamcheh border terminal had been hit. Regional reports also described a fire near an aircraft hangar at Omidiyeh Airport and smoke rising from Dezful.

⚠️ Casualties and duration: Iranian officials said a strike on the Mahshahr agricultural water pumping station killed one security guard and wounded four others. Isfahan's deputy governor separately reported one fatality and seven injuries at the Nain military base.

U.S. officials told CNN the operation lasted more than three hours, while another official told The New York Times it involved fewer strikes than the previous night's reported campaign of about 140 strikes. Al-Mayadeen reported the latest wave reached sites across 14 Iranian provinces and extended beyond military targets to include economic infrastructure.

🚀 Military exchanges spread across the Gulf: CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins said IRGC forces fired at commercial shipping transiting the Strait of Hormuz, while U.S. aircraft intercepted an Iranian cruise missile and a one-way attack drone.

Jordan's Armed Forces reported intercepting four Iranian missiles that entered its airspace, with military engineers securing debris from several impact areas. Officials said Iran launched more than four missiles toward Jordan, indicating some were not intercepted.

🛡️ Bahrain and Kuwait activate air defenses: Air raid sirens sounded repeatedly across Bahrain as explosions and interception activity were reported. Smoke was observed near the U.S. Fifth Fleet's Naval Support Activity and Shaikh Isa Air Base, although initial OSINT claims that both facilities were struck remain unconfirmed. Bahrain later said the situation had stabilized despite additional explosions.

Kuwait also reported explosions during successful interception operations against hostile aerial targets.

📡 Iran claims further retaliation: Iranian state media claimed air defenses shot down a U.S. LUCAS drone over Bandar Abbas, although the claim has not been independently verified.

Separately, the IRGC announced a multi-phase retaliatory operation against U.S. military facilities in Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, claiming damage to fuel depots, Patriot systems, HIMARS launchers, aircraft facilities, drone command centers, ammunition depots, radar systems, and additional military infrastructure. Iran described the operation as "eye for an eye" retaliation. These claims have not been independently verified.
