🌍 ISRAELI RESCUE DELEGATION COMPLETES 12-DAY COLOMBIA MISSION: Israel’s approximately 80-member “Alliance of Brothers” delegation returned from Colombia after 12 days of rescue operations following the country’s 7.4-magnitude earthquake. Led by the Home Front Command in cooperation with the Defense and Foreign Ministries, the mission included rescuers, engineers and specialists from regular and reserve service and operated at major destruction sites in Cali alongside Colombian and international teams.
Twenty-nine missing persons were located and rescued in cooperation with local forces, and the delegation reported that no additional missing persons remained in Cali when the mission concluded.
Home Front Command engineers also mapped and classified damaged structures, helped develop a situational picture for reconstruction and transferred professional knowledge and tools to local authorities. The delegation returned aboard an Israeli Air Force aircraft, with its commanders emphasizing its rescue mission, professional cooperation and readiness to assist again when requested.
🔪 SUSPECTED STABBING ATTACK PREVENTED; DEMOLITION ORDER ISSUED IN SEPARATE CASE: Acting on Shin Bet intelligence, IDF soldiers apprehended a Palestinian woman carrying a knife after receiving information that she intended to carry out a stabbing attack. The IDF described the location both as the Ganot Junction area and as a junction near Shavei Shomron. No injuries were reported, and the suspect was transferred for further handling and questioning.
Separately, the commander of IDF Central Command signed a confiscation and demolition order for the Beit Imrin home of terrorist Duas Hasson, who carried out the March 21, 2026 attack in which Yehuda Sherman was murdered and another civilian was wounded.
✈️ ISRAEL AND U.S. AIR FORCE LEADERS REVIEW REGIONAL SITUATION AND JOINT CAMPAIGN: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir met Sunday with U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Kenneth Wilsbach and Israeli Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Omer Tishler.
The commanders reviewed the regional situation, lessons from the joint campaign and potential areas for future cooperation. The IDF said the visit reflected the strategic relationship between Israel and the United States and the close military cooperation between the two countries.
