She said that while political unity is worthwhile, the initiative could become counterproductive if participants were unwilling to join a future government led by Gadi Eisenkot, calling that possibility a “bright red line.”
🤝 ISRAELI AID DELEGATION RETURNS FROM COLOMBIA: The “Brit Re’im” delegation, led by the IDF Home Front Command together with the Defense and Foreign Ministries, returned to Israel early Tuesday after completing its mission in Colombia. The delegation, commanded by Brig. Gen. (res.) Yossi Pinto, landed at Nevatim Airbase aboard an Israeli Air Force aircraft.
⚓ U.S. DECLARES STRAIT OF HORMUZ INTERNATIONAL WATERS CLEARED OF MINES: President Donald Trump said the U.S. Navy had removed or detonated all mines in the international waters of the Strait of Hormuz and warned Iran that any vessel laying new mines would be destroyed. He said U.S. Space Force capabilities were monitoring the Strait as well as Pickaxe Mountain and three previously destroyed Iranian nuclear sites.
Trump separately accused Iran of failing to pay significant portions of its military and of killing protesters on an unprecedented scale, saying the killings must stop.
🌍 U.S.-IRAN PRESSURE BROADENS AS REGIONAL AND GLOBAL POWERS RESPOND: China warned Washington against interfering with its commercial ties with Iran and signaled possible retaliation if sanctions against Chinese companies expand. The U.S. State Department is offering rewards of up to $10 million, along with possible relocation, for information on senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders.
Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office praised the latest U.S. sanctions against Iran and those assisting its aggression. Qatar described the measures as “unilateral” while reiterating support for mediation.
⚠️ IRANIAN STATE TV TARGETS BARRON TRUMP IN THREATENING VIDEO: Iran’s Channel 3 broadcast material claiming that Barron Trump’s movements and security arrangements had been monitored and referenced a $10 million reward for targeting him. The U.S. Secret Service said it was aware of the material and investigates threats against its protectees. The bounty and surveillance claims have not been independently verified.
✈️ U.S. PREPARES TO RETURN DIPLOMATS TO REGIONAL POSTS: The United States is preparing to return diplomats to embassies in Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE, according to The New York Times. The move indicates reduced concern over an immediate return to full-scale war with Iran, although some missions will remain below full staffing and restrictions on family members will continue because of ongoing security risks.
