💥 Expanded IDF strikes across Lebanon: The IDF said it continued extensive operations against Hezbollah infrastructure across Tyre, the Beqaa Valley, and southern Lebanon following evacuation warnings issued yesterday. Over the past 24 hours, more than 135 Hezbollah targets were struck, including approximately 10 launch sites used for rocket fire toward Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.
Israeli Air Force strikes also targeted a Hezbollah training camp in Brital in the Beqaa area, while overnight operations focused on roughly 15 military infrastructure sites in Tyre used to support attacks against Israel. The IDF additionally reported eliminating a Hezbollah terrorist cell as it exited a rocket launch site.
🎯 Strike near Beirut targets Iranian militia commander: The IDF confirmed carrying out a strike in the Beirut area targeting Ali al-Husni, identified as the head of the missile force in the Imam Hossein Division, an Iranian militia operating alongside Hezbollah.
According to Lebanese media, the strike occurred in Shuwayfat, south of Beirut. Israeli sources cited by i24NEWS stated that Israel intends to preserve operational freedom in Lebanon when confronting high-value targets, while emphasizing efforts not to link the Lebanese front to any potential agreement involving Iran.
🛡️ Northern border alerts continue amid aerial threats: Multiple hostile aircraft infiltration alerts were activated across northern Israeli communities, including Zar'it, Shomera, Yiftah, Misgav Am, Manara, Margaliot, and Kfar Yuval.
The Israeli Air Force intercepted several suspicious aerial targets in areas where IDF troops are operating in southern Lebanon. In additional incidents, contact with suspicious targets was lost or the alerts were later determined to be false identifications. No injuries were reported.
❗️IDF announces soldier killed in Hezbollah drone attack: The IDF announced the death of Sergeant Rotem Yanai, 20, from Giv'at Ada, who served as a service conditions NCO in the Givati Brigade’s Rotem Battalion. May her memory be a blessing.
According to an initial military investigation, two Hezbollah drones exploded yesterday in a military zone near the Lebanon border. Sgt. Yanai was killed while running to a shelter after the drones were identified but not intercepted. A second drone severely wounded one reservist and moderately wounded another. The injured soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were notified.
🎯 Senior Hamas financial operative eliminated in Khan Yunis: The IDF announced the elimination of Ihab Khrizim in the Khan Yunis area, describing him as the head of a central Hamas funds transfer network responsible for transferring millions of dollars to Hamas’ military wing.
According to the IDF, Khrizim continued operating in violation of the ceasefire agreement and played a role in enabling imminent attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The military said his elimination significantly impacts Hamas’ rehabilitation and force-building efforts.
Mohammed al-Habash, identified as a unit commander in Hamas’ production headquarters involved in weapons manufacturing throughout the war, was also killed in the strike.
⚠️ Reports indicate possible expansion of Gaza security zone: Channel 14 correspondent Hallel Bitton Rosen reported that Israel is expected to coordinate with the United States on a significant expansion of the “Yellow Line” zone in Gaza in the coming months.
The report also stated that Israeli forces remain on heightened alert over concerns of attempted terror attacks and possible kidnapping operations targeting IDF soldiers in Gaza.
