🚀 IRAN EXPANDS REGIONAL ATTACKS AS DIPLOMACY STALLS

⚓ Commercial Shipping Remains Under Attack: Commercial shipping continued to face attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. UKMTO reported that the crew of the heavily damaged M/V GFS Galaxy abandoned the vessel in lifeboats. India said 10 of the ship's 11 Indian crew members had been rescued, while one remains missing. Separate reports also indicated that another commercial vessel may have been struck by an Iranian missile.

🚀 Regional Missile Campaign: Iran launched ballistic missiles targeting U.S. military facilities in Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Air defenses were activated at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, while Jordan later reported that three Iranian missiles landed inside the country without casualties. Explosions were reported in Kuwait, alerts sounded across Qatar and Bahrain, and Bahraini air defenses attempted interceptions.

Reports also stated that an Iranian ballistic missile struck the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, with smoke rising over Manama. Security sources additionally reported drone attacks against sites in Oman's Musandam Governorate, which Oman officially condemned.

The IRGC claimed responsibility for attacks against U.S. positions in Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, as well as what it described as a surprise strike on U.S. aircraft carrier support, logistics, and aerial-refueling facilities at the Port of Duqm in Oman. The organization later released footage it said showed the attacks.

🌍 Diplomatic Efforts Break Down: Axios reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his delegation did not approve a new Omani proposal regarding the Strait of Hormuz during talks in Muscat, returning it to Tehran for further review. According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, Oman later informed Washington that Iran had rejected the proposal, after which the United States resumed its naval blockade and military operations.

🗣️ Political Reactions: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf stated: "The era of one-sided deals is over. We told you: keep your word or pay the price. Reality is knocking."

Iranian Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said U.S. forces must comply with the memorandum of understanding, accused Washington of undermining security by establishing what he called an illegal passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and said Iran's armed forces would continue defending the country's rights in the waterway.

Israeli Channel 12 criticized the memorandum of understanding as "a resounding display of American weakness," citing renewed Iranian attacks despite repeated U.S. efforts to secure Iranian compliance.

📱 False Missile Alert in Israel: An early missile warning was mistakenly sent to mobile devices in parts of central Israel, including Bnei Brak. The IDF confirmed there was no security incident and determined that maintenance and infrastructure upgrades by the Cellcom cellular provider caused previously delayed alerts to be released. The military said the malfunction originated with the provider rather than the IDF, and the incident remains under review.
