💥 U.S. strikes 10 Iranian military targets near the Strait of Hormuz: U.S. Central Command announced that U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter aircraft struck 10 Iranian military targets near the Strait of Hormuz in direct response to a drone attack on the Panama-flagged oil tanker M/T Kiku.
CENTCOM also released unclassified targeting pod footage showing precision strikes against Iranian ground installations.
❗️ Iran launches missiles and drones toward Bahrain and Kuwait: Sirens sounded across the Gulf overnight after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missiles and drones toward Bahrain and Kuwait in response to the American strikes.
Bahrain's Ministry of Interior reported significant damage to a residential building in the Al-Mahrak district, with no casualties reported. Emergency response teams were deployed.
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces said they detected and intercepted "two hostile ballistic missiles" over Kuwaiti airspace at dawn, with "no material damage or human injuries" reported.
A U.S. official told Reuters that Iran launched multiple missiles and drones toward Bahrain and Kuwait. The official said the assessment was still developing, but that "there have been no reports of American casualties or significant damage" to regional U.S. facilities.
⚠️ Iran threatens further retaliation: IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebi stated: "The enemy, as we predicted beforehand, is deceitful and unreliable and may take action at any time, even during negotiations. Iran's response to any enemy action will be decisive, and every time the enemy violates the ceasefire, it will receive a stronger response than before."
The IRGC said its Navy and Aerospace Forces carried out a joint missile and drone operation between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. targeting what it described as "8 American military infrastructure locations" at Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait and the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Salman port, Bahrain.
The IRGC claimed the operation "decisively" responded to recent U.S. strikes after American forces hit five Iranian coastal posts following what Tehran described as a maritime enforcement action against a "non-compliant vessel."
The IRGC invoked the reported "Islamabad agreement," saying arrangements for controlling passage through the Strait of Hormuz belong to Iran. It warned that future violations would be met with greater force, and that any further enemy attack "under any pretext" would receive a "crushing response."
The IRGC Public Relations statement also warned that violating the ceasefire would breach the first clause of the Islamabad agreement and "will lead to a complete halt of all processes."
The IRGC Navy Command stated: "America's blind shots at Sirik do not solve the mystery of our control over the strait. But our shots at violators remind the other vessels of the clear path to pass. The accounts of American bases in the region are separate. They will experience hell these days."
⚓ Iran reiterates claimed control over the Strait of Hormuz: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated: "The Strait of Hormuz is under Iran's management, and once the obstacles are removed, things will return to how they were before. No other entity bears responsibility for the operation of the Strait of Hormuz, and any claim otherwise violates the memorandum of understanding with Washington."
Iranian Army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said Iran has serious plans in two areas: domestic production and procurement of advanced equipment from friendly countries.
He added: "We will certainly be equipped with more advanced systems in the coming days."
