Projected seats: Likud 33; Yashar 23; Shas 10; Democrats 10; Yisrael Beiteinu 8; Bennett’s Together 7; United Torah Judaism 7; Otzma Yehudit 6; Religious Zionism 6; Ra’am 5; Hadash-Ta’al 5.
Likud remains by far the largest party. The right-wing bloc stands two seats above the 60-seat halfway mark and one above the 61 required for a majority. The opposition parties shown total 48 seats, or 58 if Ra’am and Hadash-Ta’al are included.
Below the 3.25% electoral threshold are Balad 2.3%, Zehut 1.3%, Bayit Tzioni/Miluimnikim 1.2%, Gilad Erdan 0.9%, Ofer Winter 0.6% and Blue and White 0.4%.
🛡️ MINE CLEARANCE ACCELERATED FOR JORDAN BORDER BARRIER: The Defense Ministry has accelerated mine-clearing operations across large areas of the eastern region to support expansion of Israel’s new security barrier along the Jordanian border. More than 60 heavy engineering vehicles and approximately 120 mine-clearance personnel are operating across four sections, removing mines, unexploded ordnance and other munitions.
Construction is proceeding simultaneously along dozens of kilometers despite mountainous terrain, stream channels and areas with limited access. The work is being continuously coordinated with security authorities and adjusted to changing operational conditions. The Defense Ministry says the project is part of its strategy to strengthen Israel’s security and strategic presence along the eastern frontier.
The initiative is being led by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Defense Ministry Director-General Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram, with Maj. Gen. Eran Ofir heading the barrier project together with the ministry’s Engineering and Construction Department and IDF Central Command.
⚡ ISRAEL ADVANCES NEXT-GENERATION DEFENSE TECHNOLOGY: President Isaac Herzog visited the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Defense Research & Development, receiving briefings on wartime lessons, strengthening Israel’s technological independence and expanding international cooperation to preserve its technological superiority.
Herzog viewed breakthrough developments in intelligence, directed-energy weapons, robotics and neurotechnology, including a neurofeedback system being evaluated to treat post-traumatic stress and strengthen soldiers’ mental resilience. Herzog called Israel a “powerhouse of development and revolutionary technologies” safeguarding its security superiority.
DDR&D chief Dr. Daniel Gold said that after nearly three years of fighting, Israel must continue investing in next-generation capabilities that can surprise its enemies and preserve the IDF’s qualitative advantage.
