🛡️ IDF DISMANTLES HEZBOLLAH UNDERGROUND SHAFT IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF released documentation, dismantling an underground shaft in the southern Lebanon Security Zone that Hezbollah used to store weapons.
Troops also located numerous weapons, including Kalashnikov-type rifles, missiles, anti-tank launchers, artillery weapons and RPG rockets. The IDF said the forces are operating in the Security Zone to eliminate threats to Israeli civilians.
🔸 MLADENOV DETAILS GAZA DISARMAMENT AND WITHDRAWAL FRAMEWORK: Board of Peace Director-General Nickolay Mladenov said the Gaza roadmap rests on three pillars: full decommissioning of all weapons and military infrastructure, Board of Peace-backed transitional governance and reconstruction, and deployment of an international security force.
Mladenov stressed that Israel would not be required to withdraw before verified disarmament steps occur. Gaza would be handled geographically, sector by sector. Once weapons in a sector are removed, stored and rendered unusable under verification, the IDF would progressively withdraw toward the Gaza fence. If commitments are not met, he said, “the process stops.” Israel would retain the ability to respond to imminent threats.
The framework covers Hamas and other faction weapons, personal weapons, weapons-production facilities and tunnels. Mladenov also sought to address concerns over personal weapons, indicating that Kalashnikovs and large quantities of weapons would not qualify.
Mladenov said dismantling Gaza’s tunnel network could take more than a decade at the current rate. The Board of Peace is therefore considering contractors and machinery to accelerate the process.
Verification would be American-led and include the international security force, U.S. military and mediators including Egypt, Qatar and Turkey. Mladenov said the plan is not based on trust in Hamas but on verification, arguing that full implementation is intended to prevent Hamas from rearming and another October 7 attack.
❌ IDF MOVES TOWARD DEMOLITION OF BEIT IMRIN TERRORIST’S HOME: The Central Command commander signed a notice of intent to confiscate and demolish the home of terrorist Duas Hassoun in Beit Imrin.
The notice concerning the home where Hassoun lived was delivered last Friday. Hassoun carried out the March 21, 2026 attack in which Yehuda Sherman, of blessed memory, was murdered and another civilian was wounded.
⚠️ TRUMP: U.S. “SEMI-NEGOTIATING” WITH IRAN: President Trump told Axios that the U.S. is “low-keying it” with Iran and is only “semi-negotiating while monitoring the country's worsening economic situation”.
Trump said Iran is “in very bad shape” and has little money to pay its troops. “It will work out. It always works out. It is like a chess game,” Trump said.
