💥 U.S. STRIKES IRANIAN TARGETS AS TEHRAN TARGETS U.S. POSITIONS, STRAIT OF HORMUZ SHIPPING, AND BAHRAIN

💥 U.S. retaliatory strikes in southern Iran: CENTCOM announced multiple airstrikes in southern Iran.

According to Fox News, citing an American official, U.S. airstrikes targeting Iranian tactical assets remain active and ongoing.

A U.S. defense official told the New York Times the strikes against Iranian missile and drone storage networks were calibrated strictly as retaliation for yesterday's maritime attack and did not represent a "re-start of major combat operations."

🛡️ Vice President Vance warns Iran: U.S. Vice President JD Vance said: "Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We have honored it. If they have disagreements about how the MoU is being applied, they can pick up the phone. But violence will be met with violence."

⚔️ IRGC says it struck U.S. positions: The IRGC said it targeted U.S. Army positions in the region in response to the American strikes.

In a statement, the IRGC claimed the U.S. violated its commitments and attacked Iran's coasts under what it called a pretext related to "the passage of a violating ship through an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz."

The IRGC said that, under Clause 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, passage-control arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz belong to Iran. It claimed the U.S. sought to violate that commitment by provoking various parties and warned: "If the aggression is repeated, our response will be broader than this."

⚓ Shipping incidents reported in the Strait of Hormuz: UKMTO reported an incident inside the Strait of Hormuz after the master of a tanker said the vessel was struck by an unidentified projectile.

The vessel sustained damage to its bridge. All crew members were reported safe, with no environmental damage reported at present. Authorities are investigating, and vessels have been advised to transit with caution and report suspicious activity.

According to The Wall Street Journal, a U.S. official said an Iranian drone struck a tanker carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil near the Strait of Hormuz, while U.S. forces shot down two other drones targeting commercial shipping.

❗️ Bahrain condemns Iranian drone attack: Bahrain said several Iranian drones targeted its territory early Saturday, calling the attack a "blatant violation" of its sovereignty and international law.

A U.S. official said two Iranian drones were involved. One was intercepted by ground-based air defenses, while the other landed harmlessly in a remote area of an airfield.

Bahrain's Foreign Ministry said the pre-dawn attack violated the June 17 Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, under which Tehran pledged to permanently cease military operations and respect the sovereignty of regional states.

The ministry said the attack demonstrates Iran's disregard for both its own commitments and the international community.

Bahrain also cited UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), submitted by Bahrain on behalf of the GCC and Jordan and backed by 136 countries, arguing Iran's continued aggression directly challenges the international consensus.

Bahrain reaffirmed its right to defend its sovereignty under international law and called on the UN Security Council to enforce its resolution and hold Iran accountable.

⚠️ IRGC rejects U.S. communication claims: The IRGC denied American claims that a direct communication channel exists regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

It stated: "The claims by American officials about establishing a direct line of communication with Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz are pure fabrication. The Strait of Hormuz is Iranian and has nothing to do with America. There has been no, and there will be no, establishment of a communication line with Washington regarding it."
