๐ก๏ธ Israel says campaign against Iran is not over Defense Minister Israel Katz said the IDF is "alert and prepared for the resumption of the campaign" against Iran.
Speaking at an Israeli Air Force pilots' graduation ceremony, Katz said Israel is prepared to regain air superiority and conduct independent "blue-and-white" strikes inside Iran to remove threats, even "for a third time."
"If we need to return, we will return with even greater force," Katz said.
Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir also warned that the campaign is "not over."
"On the drawing board are new plans. Major operations are still expected to lie ahead of us. Be prepared."
Zamir added that the IDF is closely monitoring developments in Iran and Lebanon and remains on high alert for immediate action against anyone who threatens Israel. His prepared remarks also noted that hundreds of Israeli Air Force aircraft have remained on standby for immediate takeoff in recent weeks.
๐ฐ๏ธ Israeli assessment: Iran currently not seeking conflict with Israel Two Israeli sources told i24NEWS that the current assessment is that Iran has no interest in involving Israel in the present conflict.
According to the sources, Israel would likely enter the fighting only if Iran attacks Israel directly or if the United States requests Israeli participation. They said neither condition has occurred.
๐ฎ๐ฑ Netanyahu and President Trump coordinate The Prime Minister's Office said Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump held another phone conversation this evening as part of their ongoing coordination.
President Trump updated Netanyahu on U.S. operations in the Gulf.
Netanyahu raised what he described as the severity of statements by Turkish President Erdoฤan and his associates against Israel's existence, as well as the need to maintain security zones along Israel's borders.
๐ฅ U.S. significantly expands strikes on Iran CENTCOM said U.S. forces struck more than 170 Iranian military targets over the past two days, including air defense systems, missile and drone storage sites, military speed boats, and logistics infrastructure near the Strait of Hormuz.
The New York Times reported this is about 14 times more targets than during the most recent two-day round of U.S. retaliatory strikes in late June.
A U.S. official told Axios: "The current escalation could last a day or two, a week or a month, depending on whether Iran continues attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz. We're going to slap them a bit so they understand we're not fucking around."
Iranian state media also reported a U.S. missile struck near the Bushehr nuclear power station.
Fars News Agency reported a U.S. strike hit a railway bridge used for trade routes with China and Russia.
โ๏ธ Iran threatens wider retaliation and launches regional attacks The IRGC Navy warned that any U.S. interference in navigation through the Strait of Hormuz would receive a decisive response, adding that continued U.S. military operations would seriously hinder the Strait's gradual reopening.
The IRGC also warned that if the United States repeats its attacks, additional American bases across the region would come under intense fire.
Iranian military officials claimed they targeted Patriot air defense systems in Kuwait, an early warning site in Qatar, and U.S. fuel storage facilities in Bahrain using drones. This marked the first reported Iranian attack on Qatar in more than three months.
Iran also launched missiles toward Jordan. Air defenses engaged missiles over Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, while operations at Amman International Airport were temporarily suspended.
A new wave of Iranian attacks also targeted Iraq, triggering sirens at U.S. bases in Baghdad and Erbil.
