⚠️ IRANIAN MISSILE STRIKES CHEMICAL PLANT IN SOUTHERN ISRAEL AS IDF ELIMINATES HAMAS OPERATIVES IN GAZA AND PRESIDENT’S RESIDENCE REVIEWS NETANYAHU PARDON REQUEST

💥 MISSILE STRIKE ON RAMAT HOVAV CHEMICAL FACILITY: A chemical plant in Ramat Hovav, southern Israel, was struck by an Iranian ballistic missile. Authorities are investigating a possible leak of hazardous materials following the impact.

Israeli Civil Defense established a perimeter around the factory and evacuated the surrounding area due to the risk of a hazardous chemical leak.

The Iranian news agency Fars stated: “Iran attacked a factory linked to Israel’s military industries in the south. The strike is a warning to the Zionist regime following attacks on factories and industries in Iran.”

❌ IDF ELIMINATES HAMAS OPERATIVES IN CENTRAL GAZA: The IDF says it struck and killed about 10 armed Hamas operatives in the central Gaza Strip overnight. "After the identification, the IDF struck and eliminated the armed terrorists to remove the threat," the military says.

In a separate incident overnight, troops of the 188th Armored Brigade killed a Palestinian terror operative who crossed the Gaza ceasefire line, according to the IDF.

The military identified him as Ahmed Faiz Salem Abu Rida and said he "systematically violated the terms of the agreement, including by crossing the Yellow Line multiple times, transferring funds to suspects for terrorist activity, and posing a threat to IDF troops."

According to the IDF, Abu Rida had been detained by Israel at the start of the war and was released to the Strip as part of a ceasefire in early 2025.

⚖️ PRESIDENT’S RESIDENCE SEEKS FURTHER CLARIFICATION ON NETANYAHU PARDON REQUEST: The President’s Residence said its legal adviser, Adv. Michal Tzuk, contacted the Pardons Department at the Ministry of Justice on Sunday, March 29, to request further clarifications regarding the pardon request for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Residence emphasized its high regard for the professional and thorough work of the Pardons Department and requested additional information on precedents for exercising pardon authority before the conclusion of criminal proceedings, including in cases involving diplomatic gestures or hostage exchange deals.

It also requested further clarification regarding differences between the legal opinions that were submitted and forwarded public petitions on the matter for analysis.

The President’s Residence said the request was made as part of completing the professional review before forming a recommendation for President Isaac Herzog, and does not reflect any position regarding the request itself.

The president said, in simple Hebrew, to the pardons department: I really appreciate your position that it’s not appropriate to grant a pardon, but what I really need to know is whether it’s possible.
