🚩 Hezbollah Rejects Expanded Security Arrangements: According to Al-Diyar, Hezbollah informed mediators it would oppose expanded security measures beyond the Litani River and rejected Israeli demands concerning the Ali al-Taher area, insisting arrangements beyond UN Resolution 1701 are unacceptable.
Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qassem accused Israel of seeking occupation rather than security, demanded an unconditional Israeli withdrawal, reaffirmed Hezbollah's refusal to disarm, urged Lebanese authorities to reject American and Israeli pressure, and declared that "the liberation of Palestine will remain the compass."
Separately, MP Hadi Abu Hassan claimed President Donald Trump would be prepared to communicate directly with Hezbollah if the organization agreed. He also alleged Israel intends to prolong military operations and expand its strategic objectives. These remain his claims and have not been independently verified.
🇮🇷 Iran Rejects U.S.-GCC Statement: Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the June 25 joint statement by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and GCC foreign ministers as "interventionist, irresponsible, and provocative."
Tehran rejected U.S. security commitments to Gulf states as rhetoric, argued the American military presence increases regional instability, and accused Washington of using GCC military facilities to conduct attacks against Iran during the recent conflict.
☢️ Nuclear Positions Remain Unchanged: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran will not obtain a nuclear weapon "with an agreement or without an agreement" while he remains Israel's prime minister.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said the agency remains prepared to resume inspections under the existing memorandum of understanding. He added that reducing Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium remains one possible solution and that the agency believes Iran's nuclear material likely remains where it was last inspected in 2025, pending verification.
🚢 Hormuz Shipping Dispute Continues: President Trump said negotiations with Iran are taking place "from a position of pure strength" and announced plans to use unfrozen Iranian assets to purchase American agricultural products for Iran. Tehran dismissed the remarks.
According to reports, Iran launched a drone toward a vessel after Oman approved an alternative shipping route without IRGC coordination. The IRGC reportedly turned back three foreign oil tankers, ordered two Panama-flagged vessels to alter course, and Tehran warned ships outside Iranian-approved routes would not be guaranteed safe passage.
The UN International Maritime Organization suspended its evacuation operation after the Singapore-flagged Ever Lovely was struck near Oman by what is believed to have been an Iranian drone projectile. No casualties were reported. South Korea announced the departure of its remaining commercial vessels from the Gulf, while Saudi Aramco resumed crude loadings at Ras Tanura, contributing to lower oil prices.
Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi warned that safe navigation through the Strait of Hormuz requires coordination with Iran under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, otherwise the alternative shipping corridor could be suspended.
⚠️ Iranian Military Warning & U.S.-Turkey Sale: Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that Israeli aircraft operating from neighboring countries toward Iran constitute a serious threat and declared that, if the United States does not restrain Israel, Tehran considers itself entitled to respond.
The Trump administration also formally notified Congress of its intention to approve an approximately $700 million sale of aircraft engines to Turkey, a move viewed as a gesture toward President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of next month's NATO summit.
