📍 GAZA WITHDRAWAL REMAINS CONDITIONAL ON HAMAS DISARMAMENT: An Israeli political official said the IDF would not withdraw from the current Yellow Line despite reports of diplomatic progress unless Hamas is genuinely disarmed.
Israeli strikes continued across Gaza. Palestinian sources reported that 18 people had been killed at several locations since the morning, including an individual identified as a senior member of Hamas’s military wing.
American sources expressed surprise at the continuation of targeted killings, claiming Israel had agreed to halt such operations so Hamas would proceed to the next stage and hand over its weapons.
“Why continue the targeted killings now and give them an excuse to back out?” the sources asked. They also argued that the strikes were further isolating Israel and were being viewed by mediating countries as evidence that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was not honoring the understandings or pursuing peace.
🎯 IDF DISMANTLES HAMAS WEAPONS FACILITIES AND TARGETS ATTACK PLANNERS: Acting under Shin Bet direction, the IDF struck several locations and dismantled five Hamas weapons storage facilities containing Kalashnikov rifles, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers, ammunition and other military equipment.
The weapons were intended for attacks against IDF troops operating near the Yellow Line and against Israeli civilians. One facility adjacent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah was also used as a terrorist hideout. The IDF said the location demonstrated Hamas’s continued use of civilian and medical infrastructure for military activity.
Recent strikes also eliminated Army of Islam terrorist Alaa Imad Khamis Tarams, Islamic Jihad terrorist Hassan Ibrahim Shehadeh Qahman and Ahmad Khudar, a commander in Hamas’s Jabalya Battalion. The three had attempted to advance attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.
In separate strikes, the IDF eliminated Salem Jamal Abd al-Rahman Abu Labad, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander who infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 Massacre, and Muhammad Abd al-Nasser Muhammad Khatib, a commander in Hamas’s Maghazi Battalion. Both had attempted to advance attacks against IDF troops.
Muhammad Al-Abed, a Hamas supply officer, and Hamas commander Ahmad Ma’in Muhammad Anqar were also eliminated. Al-Abed had been involved in smuggling weapons, facilitating the excavation of smuggling tunnels and supplying terrorist organizations’ military wings. Both had continued advancing attack plans against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.
🎗️ OPERATIVES INVOLVED IN OCTOBER 7 ABDUCTIONS AND HOSTAGE CAPTIVITY ARE ELIMINATED: The IDF eliminated Ahmed Hussein Mohammed Kafina, the central Gaza commander of Kataeb al-Mujahideen, a Hamas-allied terrorist organization.
Kafina infiltrated Israel during the October 7 Massacre, commanded terrorists who entered with him and participated in the abduction of Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or. He also directed the abduction of Sudthisak Rinthalak.
The IDF said Kafina continued planning attacks during the ceasefire and posed an immediate threat to troops and civilians.
In another strike, the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Abd al-Rahim Abd al-Hay Youssef Kardi, a Hamas deputy cell commander who also worked as a doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital.
Kardi infiltrated Israel on October 7 and was involved in holding Romi Gonen in Gaza City and at Al-Shifa Hospital. He was also involved in holding the body of Corporal Noa Marciano after her murder and until it was recovered by the IDF.
The military said Kardi continued advancing attacks throughout the war and described his activities as another example of Hamas operatives exploiting civilian professions and institutions while concealing their organizational affiliations.
