💥 WIDESPREAD STRIKES ON HEZBOLLAH FIREPOWER AND ARTILLERY OPERATIVES
As part of efforts to degrade Hezbollah’s firing capabilities, the IDF has struck and dismantled more than 200 rocket launchers, including approximately 1,300 launch tubes. This week, Ali Kamel Abar al-Hassan, the artillery officer in Hezbollah’s Nasser Unit, was struck and eliminated, along with more than 250 Hezbollah artillery operatives, including 15 commanders responsible for artillery systems in various sectors.
💥 GROUND TROOPS DISMANTLE A LOADED LAUNCHER AND UNDERGROUND INFRASTRUCTURE: IDF troops of the 162nd Division continue operations in southern Lebanon, eliminating terrorists and locating weapons and terror infrastructure.
During the activity, the troops identified a loaded rocket launcher aimed toward the State of Israel and immediately struck and dismantled it, then uncovered a tunnel shaft leading to an underground Hezbollah infrastructure site and located weapons including anti-tank missiles, firearms, and magazines.
⚠️ HEZBOLLAH LAUNCHED ROCKETS FROM A SCHOOL COMPOUND: The IDF identified Hezbollah launching rockets from a school compound in the Tir Zibneh area in southern Lebanon, with newly released footage showing the launcher being moved within the school grounds in real time.
Following the identification, and in accordance with international law, the IDF struck the premises to remove the threat, stating it views Hezbollah’s use of civilian infrastructure for military activity with severity.
🪖 FIVE DIVISIONS CONTINUE TARGETED OPERATIONS ACROSS SOUTHERN LEBANON: Since the beginning of Operation Roaring Lion, IDF forces operating on the ground, in the air, and at sea have eliminated more than 1,400 Hezbollah terrorists.
The 162nd and 36th Divisions have dismantled more than 2,700 terrorist infrastructure sites and located over 250 weapons, while the 91st, 98th, and 146th Divisions have dismantled more than 1,500 additional infrastructure sites and located over 1,000 weapons, including long-range rockets, anti-tank missiles, RPG launchers, firearms, explosive devices, and other military equipment.
💥 ISRAELI AIR FORCE CONTINUES CLOSE SUPPORT AND AREA STRIKES: The Israeli Air Force continues to support ground forces and conduct coordinated strikes against Hezbollah targets across southern Lebanon.
Over the past day, the Air Force struck more than 120 terrorist infrastructure sites in order to remove threats to IDF troops.
❌ 91ST DIVISION ELIMINATED A TERRORIST CELL OPERATING NEAR TROOPS: Earlier this week, IDF troops identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell in proximity to forces operating in the area, including one terrorist taking cover in vegetation.
The terrorist was eliminated in an Israeli Air Force strike directed by the ground troops, and during the strike a vehicle carrying additional members of the cell attempting to flee was also identified and struck; over the past week, more than 40 terrorists were eliminated and more than 50 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites were dismantled with the guidance of the 91st Division.
