⚔️ GAZA, LEBANON, ISRAELI SECURITY, TURKEY, AND U.S. MILITARY UPDATE

🎯 Israeli operations in Gaza continued to target Hamas' military infrastructure. The IDF announced the elimination of Fadi Falah Ashour Daghmash, a commander in Hamas' Training Department responsible for preparing Nukhba forces before October 7, directing combat against Israeli troops, and rebuilding Hamas' operational capabilities. Separately, five terrorists attempting to restore underground infrastructure in northern Gaza were struck, including Nukhba operative Hudhayfah Hussein Abdullah al-Hawajri.

🏛️ Hamas dissolved its governing institutions in Gaza, but Israeli security officials assessed the move as symbolic. An Israeli security source told Walla that Hamas has no intention of disarming, surrendering its weapons, or dismantling its tunnel network, describing the step as an effort to project change toward Washington and the Peace Council.

💥 IDF operations continued inside the Lebanon security zone. The Israeli Air Force struck four suspects near Al-Aqida after they were assessed to pose a threat to Israeli forces. The IDF also said the 401st Brigade established operational control over the Hadatha area, dismantling more than 90 Hezbollah infrastructure sites, eliminating over 20 terrorists, and seizing more than 150 weapons.

🚧 The IDF warned against repeated civilian incursions into restricted areas. Israeli civilians were extracted from the Area A city of Qalqilya, while another group attempting to cross into Syria from the Mount Hermon area was intercepted and transferred to Israel Police. According to reports, many participants identified themselves as members of the Bashan Pioneers movement. The military said such incidents endanger civilians and soldiers and interfere with ongoing operations.

🗳️ Political developments continued alongside the security situation. Reports said Religious Zionism chairman Bezalel Smotrich offered reserve D9 bulldozer operator Rabbi Avraham Zarbib a reserved place on the party's electoral list after he gained public recognition during operations in Gaza and Lebanon.

🇹🇷 Prime Minister Netanyahu opposed providing Turkey with F-35 aircraft or fighter jet engines. He argued such a move would undermine the regional balance maintained by Israeli air superiority and America's posture in the Middle East, while accusing Turkey of supporting Hamas and not assisting the United States during the conflict with Iran.

⚓ The U.S. Navy concluded its search for a missing sailor following the July 1 MH-60S Seahawk helicopter crash in the Arabian Sea. After more than 102 hours of search operations covering over 14,000 square miles and involving extensive naval and air assets, the sailor was declared deceased. The identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
