The U.S. has deployed dozens of fighter jets and refueling aircraft to the region. Officials said any return to large-scale operations would be “more intense and widespread than the current attacks,” with Israel likely to participate. Washington has avoided strikes near Tehran and against nuclear facilities since July 7, although officials cautioned that this could change.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said Israel currently benefits from remaining outside the limited U.S.-Iran confrontation while economic pressure weakens Tehran. Oil prices recently reached approximately $90 per barrel following ten consecutive nights of U.S. strikes, attacks on commercial shipping and American military casualties in Jordan.
🛰️ IRAN REPORTEDLY MOVED CENTRIFUGES INTO A FORTIFIED UNDERGROUND COMPLEX: Israeli intelligence reviewed by the U.S. indicates that Iran transferred thousands of uranium-enrichment centrifuges into tunnels beneath the “Pickaxe Mountain” complex near Natanz following the June 2025 war, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The Zagros Mountain facility remains incomplete, and the assessments do not establish that enrichment is occurring there. It may instead be serving as protected storage or a potential backup location for rebuilding Iran’s nuclear program after Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan were heavily damaged.
President Trump recently described Pickaxe Mountain as a possible target. The Wall Street Journal also reported that Iran’s missiles have become faster and more lethal despite U.S. and Israeli strikes, while American officials believe Tehran retains the ability to develop its military capabilities further.
💥 U.S. COMPLETES A TENTH CONSECUTIVE NIGHT OF STRIKES: CENTCOM said American forces struck Iranian command centers, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites and air-defense systems to reduce Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian outlets reported explosions around Khomein, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Chabahar and Konarak, with air-defense activity near the Bushehr nuclear power plant. An IRNA correspondent reported at least 14 explosions around Chabahar and Konarak.
Separate reports claimed that a major drone-manufacturing facility in Shiraz, the Southwest Tabriz Missile Base and an IRGC headquarters used to control air operations were destroyed. Video also reportedly showed a B-52 striking an IRGC site.
CENTCOM said approximately 900 commercial vessels carrying 450 million barrels of crude oil have transited the corridor with U.S. assistance since early May.
