🛡️ HEZBOLLAH DRONES AND ISRAELI STRIKES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones toward IDF soldiers at the Ali al-Taher Ridge in the Security Zone. Israeli troops downed one drone, and no IDF injuries were reported. The IDF subsequently struck Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area that it said was being used to plan and direct attacks against Israeli civilians and troops. The military said the strikes were intended to “remove an immediate threat.”
💥 AIRSTRIKES REPORTED ACROSS NABATIEH AREA: Additional Israeli military aircraft activity and strikes were reported across southern Lebanon, including Douha Kfarraman, Ali al-Taher and Upper Nabatiyeh. Hezbollah has a major underground facility beneath the Ali al-Taher Ridge, where several operatives are believed by the IDF to remain holed up. The IDF said it continues operating at the ridge and will not allow terrorists there to advance attacks on its forces.
📡 NORTHERN DRONE ALERT WAS A FALSE IDENTIFICATION: Hostile-aircraft sirens sounded in Kfar Yuval and communities near Kiryat Shmona after the IDF identified a suspicious aerial target near the Lebanon border, prompting interceptor launches and additional alerts. No injuries were reported. Following a review, the IDF said the target was not an enemy drone and the infiltration warnings were false alarms.
🎯 HAMAS COMMANDER ELIMINATED OVER IMMEDIATE THREAT: The IDF said it eliminated Talal Mustafa Saleh Badawi, a commander in the Military Security Department of Hamas’ Gaza City Brigade, along with Hamas terrorist Momen Saeed Mohammed Al-Hawari. According to the military, the two had recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas capabilities “in systematic violation of the ceasefire.” The IDF said the strike was conducted to remove an immediate threat.
🕳️ MORE THAN 26 KM OF HAMAS TUNNELS DISABLED SINCE CEASEFIRE: IDF troops in northern Gaza recently dismantled an approximately one-kilometer underground tunnel while clearing terrorist infrastructure near the Yellow Line. The military said more than 26 kilometers of tunnels east of the Yellow Line have been disabled since implementation of the October 2025 ceasefire agreement. The operations involve the Gaza Division’s Northern Brigade and Yahalom combat engineers, while Southern Command forces remain deployed around the Yellow Line under the ceasefire framework.
📍 NETANYAHU SAYS ISRAEL CONTROLS 60% OF GAZA: During a visit to the Strip, Netanyahu said: “We control 60% of the Strip, and there’s more to come. Yesterday we captured the head of Hamas’s Shin Bet - we’ll probably learn a few things.”
🚧 ROUTE 10 RETURNS TO REGULAR WEEKEND ACCESS: Beginning Thursday, Route 10 between Ezuz and Mount Harif will return to its normal schedule, opening to hikers only on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Thursday access permitted during the summer vacation period will end. Southern firing zones will remain closed to hikers because of ongoing IDF training. Identification and registration are required to enter Route 10, but advance coordination is not.
🎖️ IDF EXERCISE IN EPHRAIM AND MENASHE: A military exercise will take place Thursday from morning until afternoon in the Ephraim and Menashe Brigade areas, with increased movement of security forces expected. The IDF said there is no concern of a security incident.
❌ FORMER IDF SOLDIER INDICTED OVER ALLEGED ISIS PLAN: Israeli authorities indicted a Bedouin man from the Galilee who previously served in the IDF, accusing him of planning to travel to Syria or Africa to join ISIS.
