⛰️ IDF CLEARS HEZBOLLAH UNDERGROUND NETWORK AT ALI AL-TAHER: The 36th Division achieved operational control above and below the Ali al-Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon and cleared two Hezbollah underground routes ahead of their demolition. Some terrorists were eliminated and others fled; work to neutralize the infrastructure remains ongoing.
The IDF described the network as a strategic facility built over two decades with Iranian financing and planning. Troops found command centers, weapons and generator rooms, living quarters, showers and a kitchen designed to support prolonged Hezbollah operations. The military said attacks against Israel and IDF troops had been conducted from the routes and that their ability to support further attacks has now been neutralized.
The IDF said it will establish a renewed defensive posture after completing the operation, indicating plans to withdraw from the ridge area and adjust its deployment. It says it remains committed to the Lebanon ceasefire while operating in the Security Zone and will respond to attempts to attack Israeli forces.
Reuters separately reported that Iran warned the United States through Oman that it would respond forcefully to an Israeli offensive against the ridge and that IRGC personnel, including at least two senior officers, were believed to be present alongside Hezbollah. Israel has again denied that Iranian fighters are stationed there.
🏔️ 210TH DIVISION DRILLS GOLAN EMERGENCY RESPONSE: The IDF completed an advanced exercise across the Golan Heights and Syrian border involving the 210th Division, neighboring forces, Home Front Command, local authorities and emergency organizations.
Troops practiced dozens of scenarios, including battlefield rescue, mass-casualty response, medical evacuation, combat command and control and coordination among agencies. The IDF said the exercise incorporated lessons from combat across all arenas, particularly October 7, with emphasis on rapid-response and special forces, fire direction and broader readiness.
