‼️ President Trump sharply criticized Iran’s latest response to the United States, describing it as “a piece of garbage” and saying he did not finish reading it. He said the ceasefire is now “unbelievably weak” and “on massive life support,” comparing it to a patient with “approximately a one percent chance of living.”
🛡️ Dr. Mehmet Oz, who was present during the exchange, described the situation as carrying a “bad prognostic.” The remarks followed Iran’s rejection of key American demands and continued public escalation between Washington and Tehran.
⚠️ President Trump said Monday he is still aiming for “complete victory” in the war against Iran despite mounting pressure for a negotiated settlement. Speaking to reporters, Trump said Iran believes he will “get tired of this,” “get bored,” or come under pressure, but insisted “there’s no pressure at all.” He added: “We’re going to have a complete victory. We already, in theory, have a complete victory from a military standpoint.”
President Trump also said Monday that “a large group of generals” was waiting for him to discuss Iran following the Oval Office exchange. The comments came as the administration reviewed Iran’s latest counter-offer amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations tied to Operation Epic Fury.

❗️ Earlier in the day, Trump publicly rejected Iran’s proposal as “totally unacceptable” and “a piece of garbage.” He also expressed frustration that Iran had backed away from what he described as a prior verbal understanding allowing the removal of highly enriched uranium from the country.
Trump said he plans to raise the issue later this week in Beijing during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, as part of an effort to pressure China to help secure a more favorable agreement.
⚠️ According to Axios, President Trump met Monday with his national security team to discuss next steps in the Iran war following stalled negotiations. Options under discussion reportedly include restarting “Project Freedom,” the suspended U.S. naval escort operation in the Strait of Hormuz, or resuming airstrikes against the remaining 25% of Iranian targets identified by the U.S. military.
Trump also told Fox he is considering renewing the operation to liberate the Strait of Hormuz under “Project Freedom.”
Israel is also reportedly pushing for a special forces mission to secure Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile, although Trump is said to view the proposal as highly risky. Two U.S. officials told Axios that Trump is leaning toward additional pressure measures against Tehran.
One official stated: “He will tune them up a bit,” while another added: “I think we all know where this is going.” Officials also said they do not expect Trump to authorize military action before returning from China.
❗️ In additional remarks, Trump criticized Kurdish groups over efforts tied to Iran. He claimed weapons provided for delivery inside Iran were instead kept by Kurdish elements and said expectations for Kurdish support were not met.
Trump described growing public frustration and calls for protest inside Iran, claiming civilians “want to go out on the streets” despite lacking weapons or organized support. The remarks portrayed conditions inside the country as increasingly tense and unstable.
Trump further stated that he had previously warned the effort “would never work,” saying he opposed the decision from the beginning and now believes events have validated his position.
