🔸 Iran’s UN address and conditions for negotiations: The U.S. delegation left the UN General Assembly as Iranian President Pezeshkian began his speech.
Pezeshkian said: "No one in this region will have security alone, either we will build it together or we will have to live under insecurity together".
He also said: "Atomic and nuclear bombs are in the hands of the Israeli regime, but the inspectors are requested to come to Iran. Israel has murdered savagely over 70,000 innocents in Gaza, but Iran, while behind the table of negotiation, was bombed. Israel has the bombs, has weapons of mass destruction, is not a member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, during her shameful life has not allowed a single inspection, but they are rewarded by all the means necessary for them to be able to bomb any capital in the region at will. Israel kills and kills. But Iran is subject to sanctions. This is a true tragedy, which would make anyone hearing it laugh at best".
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said: "Yesterday, a round of exchanging and clarifying messages took place between Iran and the US, mediated by Qatar. The exchange of messages took two hours, during which our conditions for reviving negotiations were conveyed to the Americans. Our conditions include stopping America's aggressive actions and sanctions, ending the war on all fronts, the release of our frozen assets and the acceptance of a navigation route in the Strait of Hormuz, as agreed upon with Oman".
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said: "Iran believes that the Democrats will win the elections and that Trump will not be able to take action against it".
❗️ U.S. military death toll linked to Iran war: The Pentagon has added another U.S. military death linked to the Iran war, bringing its publicly disclosed total to 19, The Washington Post reported. The Army identified the latest casualty as Capt. Bianca C. Wilkerson, 37, who died on September 18 from a 'non-combat medical emergency' while supporting operations in Doha, Qatar.
The newspaper reported that U.S. officials put the actual number of military deaths in the region higher, with at least 22–23 fatalities reported since the conflict began, including deaths absent from the Pentagon’s public database.
🗳️ Ra’am and Joint List disqualified from elections: The Central Elections Committee disqualified Ra’am and the Joint List from running in the Knesset elections. Representatives from Bennett and Lapid’s alliance did not participate in either disqualification vote.
🗳️ Channel 13 election poll: Tonight’s Channel 13 News poll projected 22 seats for Yashar, 18 for Likud, 11 for Bennett, six for Smotrich and Feiglin, five for Winter, and four for Yoaz Hendel and Zelekha.
The poll’s stated bloc totals were 51 seats for the Netanyahu bloc, 52 for the opposition bloc and 13 for the Arab parties, with Yoaz Hendel and Zelekha’s four seats listed separately.
