🚨 ISRAELI SECURITY OPERATIONS, GAZA ACTIVITY, AND THE MONTREAL SHOOTING INCIDENT

🚨 PREPARATIONS FOR POTENTIAL THREATS TO EILAT: Shin Bet chief David Zini has reportedly instructed senior officials to prioritize preparations for a potential attack on Eilat. Reports indicate concern regarding the city's geographic isolation and possible infiltration scenarios originating from either the Jordanian border or the maritime domain.

While preparations have reportedly been directed, some defense officials questioned both the level of concern and whether current intelligence indicates an attack is being planned.

πŸ”« COUNTERTERRORISM OPERATIONS CONTINUE IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: The IDF reported the confiscation of more than 240 firearms and numerous additional weapons throughout Judea and Samaria since the start of 2026. Security forces also seized ammunition, weapons-production equipment, and other terrorist infrastructure concealed within civilian areas.

Among the discoveries were ammunition hidden inside a hardware store in Bethlehem and a weapons-manufacturing lathe located in a civilian building in Shechem. The military stated that the findings demonstrate the continued use of civilian infrastructure by terrorist organizations.

🏴 GAZA OPERATIONS TARGET OCTOBER 7 PARTICIPANTS AND HAMAS OPERATIVES: The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced the elimination of Hamas Nukhba Force terrorist Sabai Zaher Abd al-Hamid Abu Hasna, who participated in the October 7 massacre and was involved in holding hostage Omer Shem Tov in Gaza.

The military said Abu Hasna infiltrated Israel during the attack, planted explosive devices during the war, and recently sought to advance attacks against Israeli forces. He was also documented during the staged release ceremony of Omer Shem Tov.

The same strike eliminated Ahmed Samir Muhammad Washah, whom the IDF identified as both a Hamas military operative and sniper while also working as a photojournalist for Al Jazeera.

In a separate operation in northern Gaza, Israeli forces eliminated three armed Hamas terrorists who were preparing attacks against IDF troops. The military stated that operations against terrorist operatives, including October 7 participants, have intensified due to continuing threats to forces operating in Gaza.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ MONTREAL SHOOTING INVESTIGATION CONTINUES: Authorities in Montreal lifted emergency restrictions following the shooting incident in the CΓ΄te-des-Neiges district and announced that the immediate threat to the public had ended. The suspect was neutralized after a confrontation with police, and shelter-in-place orders were subsequently removed.

The incident generated widespread concern because it occurred in a heavily Jewish neighborhood near a kosher supermarket and a Chabad House. During the lockdown, police evacuated civilians from nearby hotels into the Chabad House, where approximately one hundred people were sheltered.

Although numerous reports circulated regarding additional suspects, fatalities, arrests, and possible links to Jewish institutions, authorities have not confirmed many of those claims. Current information indicates the shooting was not directed at the Jewish community.

Community leaders emphasized that the motive, sequence of events, and any possible involvement of additional individuals remain under investigation. MK Dan Illouz said that concern the incident might have targeted Jews reflects broader anxieties within the community, even as official conclusions have yet to be released.
