🎯 Gaza: strikes against October 7 perpetrators and other operatives: The IDF announced several strikes eliminating Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists, saying all those identified had recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians “in systematic violation of the ceasefire” and were eliminated to remove the threats they posed.
A Thursday strike in Khan Yunis eliminated Hamas Nukhba squad commander Jihad Samih Mahmoud Ismail. According to the IDF, he infiltrated Israel on October 7, 2023, participated in the battle with Tank No. 3 near Nirim, and helped abduct the bodies of Captain Omer Maxim Neutra, 21, and Staff Sergeant Oz Daniel, while taking Sergeant Nimrod Cohen, 19, captive. The tank’s driver, Sergeant Shaked Dahan, 19, was killed, and his body was taken to Gaza separately. The military said Ismail also carried out wartime ambushes against Israeli troops.
Two other announced eliminations involved October 7 infiltrators: Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who entered Erez Crossing, and Muhammad Jamal Ahmad Eid, a Nukhba commander who infiltrated Israel. Labad was struck in northern Gaza two days before the IDF’s announcement; Eid was eliminated in a Wednesday strike in Al-Bureij. Separate strikes eliminated Nukhba commander Yusuf Saad Al-Din Rashad Zaim earlier that week and Hamas Naval Array platoon commander Saleh Ziad Ibrahim Miqdad in Gaza City on Tuesday. The IDF said Labad, Zaim, Eid and Miqdad had worked to restore Hamas’ capabilities, while Eid and Miqdad also trained terrorists and increased their readiness.
In northern Gaza, the IDF reported eliminating Hamas Daraj-Tuffah Battalion commander Said As’ad Said Akrim, who had recently planted explosives and advanced shooting attacks against troops. Two strikes the preceding day eliminated Palestinian Islamic Jihad regional artillery operative Nimer Yasser Nimer Arshi, who participated in rocket launches toward Israel from Daraj-Tuffah, and Hamas Shuja’iya Battalion member Ahmed Bazahat Saleh Shaer, who had recently been involved in planting explosives.
🚔 Judea and Samaria: arrests and weapons seizures: The IDF reported approximately 230 arrests and more than 100 weapons confiscated over several months, following searches at more than 1,200 locations, including an explosive-device production facility. Seizures included M16 rifles, pistols, submachine guns, ammunition, magazines and equipment used for terrorism. The military released footage of Nahal Brigade operations.
In Burqin near Jenin, Duvdevan commandos arrested Mohammad Saadi under Shin Bet direction using its information on his whereabouts. A joint statement identified him as a Palestinian Islamic Jihad affiliate and senior member of the Jenin terrorist network dismantled during Operation “Iron Wall” in early 2025. The IDF said he managed and directed funds for attacks against troops and Israeli citizens. Helmet-camera footage accompanied the announcement, which reaffirmed continued proactive and offensive operations throughout Judea and Samaria.
In an overnight operation in Balata refugee camp near Shechem, police Gideonim Unit officers detained a wanted Tanzim operative identified by Palestinian media as Rami Shalbai. Police said the 35-year-old Kafr Qallil resident, who had access to weapons, attempted to flee a store while resisting officers. They shot him in the leg and transferred him to the Shin Bet for questioning. Tanzim is a mostly dormant terrorist group.
