🚨 ISRAEL STRIKES IRANIAN AIR DEFENSES; HEZBOLLAH TUNNEL NETWORK

💥 The IDF released footage from overnight strikes targeting Iranian air defense systems in western and central Iran. According to the military, dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck nine air defense systems, including anti-aircraft missile batteries. The IDF said the operation was intended to expand Israeli aerial freedom of action over Iran and reduce threats to Israeli civilians.

🏭 The Israeli Air Force also targeted infrastructure within the petrochemical complex in Mahshahr, southwestern Iran. The IDF stated that the facilities were used by the Iranian regime to manufacture and export raw materials connected to weapons production, including components used in Iran’s ballistic missile program. The strike was described as part of the broader “Operation Roaring Lion” campaign against the complex.

⚠️ Israeli military officials said preparations are underway for several additional days of fighting with Iran, while also maintaining readiness for the possibility of a wider renewal of the conflict. Since the previous night, the IDF reported that Iran launched 24 ballistic missiles toward Israel, all of which were either intercepted or landed in open areas.

♟️ Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen launched two ballistic missiles toward Israel during the morning hours. According to the IDF, one missile was intercepted and the second failed before reaching Israeli territory. The military also confirmed continued operational coordination with the United States, including American participation in missile interceptions. The IDF stated that Israeli strikes continue to be conducted independently while maintaining full coordination with US Central Command. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reportedly held three conversations with CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper.

❌ In northern Lebanon, the IDF revealed an extensive Hezbollah underground tunnel network beneath the Beaufort Ridge area. Forces from the Golani Brigade, Maglan Unit, and Yahalom Unit, operating under the 36th Division and Northern Command intelligence guidance, are working to dismantle the site and establish operational control over the area. According to the IDF, the network was financed and planned by Iran and constructed within a civilian zone overlooking the Galilee Panhandle, roughly six kilometers from Metula.

🛡️ The tunnel complex included multiple underground routes designed to hold hundreds of Hezbollah operatives for extended periods. Troops uncovered living quarters, water and electricity infrastructure, anti-tank launch positions, aerial defense capabilities, weapons storage areas, ammunition, medical facilities, kitchens, and operational rooms. In one tunnel approximately one kilometer long, forces located six underground shafts along with anti-tank missiles, grenades, combat equipment, and advanced medical supplies. The IDF stated that UAVs, shoulder-fired missiles, and anti-tank weapons had previously been launched from the site against Israeli forces and Israeli territory.

🚧 The IDF said the tunnel project was built near Lebanese Armed Forces activity. According to the military, Israel requested that the Lebanese Armed Forces address the site as part of the Israel-Lebanon understandings, but Hezbollah prevented action from being taken. The current operations in the Beaufort area were described as part of efforts to remove direct threats to northern Israeli communities and dismantle Hezbollah’s operational infrastructure.
