⚠️ IRAN SIGNALS GULF PRESSURE CAMPAIGN AS U.S.-ISRAEL POLICY GAPS EMERGE

⚠️ IRANIAN PRESSURE AND INTERNAL STRAIN: Sources close to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said Tehran is expected to increase pressure and harassment against Gulf states as Iran’s economic conditions continue to deteriorate. Iranian officials reportedly assess that U.S. domestic considerations — including the 250th Independence anniversary celebrations and upcoming elections — are increasing Washington’s sensitivity to regional instability.

⛽ Iranian sources described worsening fuel and cash shortages inside the country, adding to pressure on the regime. According to the sources, ongoing contacts with the United States are primarily aimed at preserving the current situation by avoiding renewed strikes while also preventing progress toward sanctions relief. One source close to the IRGC said: “The more the economic situation in Iran deteriorates, the more pressure there will be in the Gulf.”

🛡️ Mohammad Jafar Assadi, deputy head of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya central military command, stated that Washington is demanding Iran’s “total surrender,” adding that “without surrender, war is inevitable.” Western officials cited by Bloomberg warned that the risk of Iran secretly pursuing nuclear weapons may now be higher than before the June 2025 U.S. and Israeli strikes.

♟️ REGIONAL COALITION AND U.S. POSITIONING: Analysis circulating in U.S. political and strategic circles describes the current campaign against Iran as a broad regional coalition effort involving Israel, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and additional regional partners. The assessment says Iran faces increasing strategic isolation, with no allies reportedly willing to directly challenge the American-led naval posture in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz.

🌍 The same assessment said European countries are gradually expanding support for maritime security operations. According to the analysis, the coalition framework helps explain the slower pace of negotiations and calibrated military pressure, while avoiding actions that could fracture Gulf support due to concerns over retaliation against regional oil infrastructure.

✈️ Reports said approximately 60 U.S. Air Force aerial refueling tankers remain stationed at Ben Gurion Airport, with an additional 16–18 aircraft deployed at Ramon Airport near Eilat. Washington reportedly requested permission to keep the aircraft in Israel through the end of 2027.

🇺🇸 TRUMP, NETANYAHU, AND IRAN POLICY DIFFERENCES: The Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump told aides he would not resume full-scale war with Iran unless American troops are killed. Trump also signaled interest in direct engagement with Iran’s leadership, saying: “We seem to be getting along quite well with the Ayatollah. I would like to meet him.”

🏛️ PM Netanyahu said that helping the Iranian people bring down the regime “hasn't changed” as a strategic objective, while acknowledging that such an outcome may not happen immediately. Netanyahu also suggested that pursuing a diplomatic agreement with Tehran does not necessarily require preserving the current Iranian regime.

📊 According to Axios, differences are increasingly emerging between Washington and Jerusalem regarding Iran policy. The report said Trump favors reducing tensions and pursuing diplomacy, while Netanyahu appears more inclined to maintain military pressure on Iran and Hezbollah.
