🪖 IDF SAYS HEZBOLLAH REMAINS ACTIVE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: IDF Spokesperson BG Effie Defrin said Hezbollah is still operating and carrying out attacks from southern Lebanon despite the Lebanese government’s declaration earlier this year.
“Contrary to the declaration by the Lebanese government earlier this year - Hezbollah is still operating and conducting attacks from southern Lebanon. If the Lebanese government will not disarm Hezbollah, the IDF will”.
Defrin said Hezbollah has continued to rearm and rebuild in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Wafiq Safa (Senior Hezbollah Member): “In fact, during this fifteen-month period, in which we saw destruction, displacement, killing, and kidnappings, Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance were working to rebuild their capabilities. First, their missile capabilities – in both quantity and quality. Second, the rebuilding of their suicide drones – in both quantity and quality. Third, the rebuilding of their ground forces in all of their forms.”
According to Defrin, Hezbollah is being funded and trained by the Iranian terror regime while rebuilding its terrorist capabilities.
He said the group is stockpiling missiles and suicide drones, training ground forces, rebuilding infrastructure, and operating from civilian areas as part of its war tactic.
Defrin said Hezbollah chose on March 2nd to join the Iranian terror regime in attacks against Israel, putting both Israeli and Lebanese civilians at risk.
He added that the IDF is continuing to strike Hezbollah terror targets while troops remain positioned at forward defensive points along the border area in southern Lebanon, and said Israel will not allow Hezbollah to rearm.
