⚔️ IDF TARGETS HAMAS FINANCIAL AND ATTACK NETWORKS AND ISRAEL REAFFIRMS SOUTHERN LEBANON SECURITY ENFORCEMENT

🎯 HAMAS OPERATIVES AND FINANCIAL NETWORK TARGETED: The IDF announced the elimination of Hussein Qadra and Mohammed Farra in a precision strike in Gaza. According to the military, Qadra led a Hamas financial network responsible for transferring funds into Gaza under Hamas leadership direction, while Farra operated within the military wings of both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

The IDF stated that the network facilitated the transfer of more than half a billion shekels through couriers and money exchangers in Turkey and Gaza, enabling Hamas to finance military activity and continue salary payments to operatives, including during ceasefire periods. The military noted that several members of the financial infrastructure have been eliminated in recent months in both Gaza and Lebanon.

📸 HAMAS SNIPER OPERATIVE KILLED: The IDF reported that Ahmed Samir Muhammad Washah was eliminated in a precision strike in central Gaza along with two additional Hamas operatives.

According to the military, Washah served as a sniper operative while publicly working as an Al Jazeera photojournalist. The IDF said he was involved in advancing sniper attack plans and other operational activity against Israeli forces. His brother, Muhammad Washah, who was previously eliminated, reportedly served in Hamas’s rocket and weapons-production infrastructure while also operating under journalistic cover.

🛰️ SHIN BET DETAILS HAMAS OPERATIONS FROM TURKEY: The Israel Security Agency disclosed that it thwarted dozens of planned Hamas attacks in Judea and Samaria over the past year that were directed by operatives based in Turkey.

According to the agency, Hamas has intensified efforts to recruit operatives, transfer funding and weapons, and direct attacks from Turkish territory. The Shin Bet identified senior Hamas officials, including Zaher Jabarin and Ayman Abu Khalil, as key figures overseeing these activities and said additional operatives continue to exploit infrastructure in Turkey to support terrorist networks operating in Judea and Samaria.

⚔️ HEZBOLLAH ATTACK AND SOUTHERN LEBANON SECURITY DEBATE: The IDF released the names of four soldiers killed in Friday’s Hezbollah attack near Kfar Tebnit and the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon. The tank involved was participating in operations targeting a major Hezbollah underground facility.

An IDF investigation concluded that the vehicle was struck by hostile fire, either a drone or anti-tank missile, and that the explosion was not caused by a technical malfunction.

Israeli military assessments cited by Walla indicate that Hezbollah has rebuilt a surveillance and intelligence-gathering network along the Yellow Line and is conducting nighttime reconnaissance activity intended to support future attacks.

Discussion also continued regarding reports that approval requirements for certain military actions in southern Lebanon have been tightened following U.S. pressure connected to the emerging U.S.-Iran framework. Defense Minister Israel Katz rejected claims that operational freedom has been restricted, stating that Israel retains the ability to act against threats and will remain in the southern Lebanon security zone despite the ceasefire. Prime Minister Netanyahu similarly reiterated Israel’s commitment to restoring security for northern residents.
