🎯 IDF AND SHIN BET STRIKE HAMAS WEAPONS DEPOTS INSIDE GAZA MOSQUES: The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said precise strikes in the Shati and Deir al-Balah areas destroyed two Hamas weapons storage facilities established inside mosques.
The facilities contained dozens of Kalashnikov rifles, magazines and additional military equipment that Hamas terrorists used the mosques to conceal and store, according to the military.
Earlier reporting placed the Gaza City strike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, where the IDF said a Hamas weapons depot was targeted. Palestinian media reported that an evacuation warning was issued before the strike, while Hamas media said a mosque and a water desalination plant were targeted. Gazan media also published footage of the separate strike in the Deir al-Balah area.
The IDF said advance warnings were issued to civilians before the strikes. Additional precautions included precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
“This is another example of Hamas’s systematic exploitation of civilian infrastructure, including mosques, in violation of international law, to advance and execute terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians,” the military said.
📍 PARATROOPERS COMPLETE THREE-MONTH GAZA MISSION, TRANSITION TO JUDEA AND SAMARIA: Paratroopers Brigade troops operating under the 143rd Gaza Division and 99th Division have completed their Gaza mission and are transitioning to operations in Judea and Samaria.
During three months of defensive operations to clear terrorist infrastructure from the Yellow Line area, the troops, together with Yahalom, dismantled and sealed underground tunnels totaling 13 kilometers, including part of the tunnel where LT Hadar Goldin was held.
Troops also dismantled numerous terrorist infrastructure sites and located RPG rockets, mortar shells, grenades, missile launchers, ammunition and other weapons used by Hamas. They established new routes and military posts to strengthen the defensive posture in the area.
Southern Command troops remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire framework and will continue operating to remove immediate threats.
🔹 ANOTHER KITE REPORTED IN NAHAL OZ: Another kite was reported in Nahal Oz, this time inside the kibbutz.
❌ TWO TERROR SUSPECTS APPREHENDED OVER PLANNED ATTACKS: IDF soldiers, guided by the Shin Bet, apprehended Imam Khazzam overnight in the Jenin area. The military said he was working to advance a terror attack against Israeli civilians and security forces.
Khazzam is the son of Fathi Hazzam, who was eliminated last Thursday after attempting to stab an IDF soldier during operational activity in the Jenin area. Following his father’s elimination, Imam expressed intentions to carry out an attack, according to the IDF.
He is also the brother of Raed Hazzam, who carried out the 2022 Dizengoff shooting attack in which three Israeli civilians were murdered and six others were injured. Duvdevan commandos apprehended Imam during the operation.
In a separate operation yesterday in Sanur near Jenin, IDF troops guided by the Shin Bet apprehended another terrorist who the military said was working to advance attacks against Israeli civilians.
