🔸 LEBANON SEEKS DIRECT NEGOTIATIONS WITH ISRAEL: Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji said Beirut is seeking a ceasefire through direct negotiations with Israel.
He said direct negotiations with Israel have served to separate the Lebanese path from the Iranian one.
❗️ HEZBOLLAH FIRES ROCKETS TOWARD THE KARMIEL AREA: Hezbollah launched a salvo of four rockets at the Karmiel area in northern Israel.
According to the IDF, two rockets were intercepted and two were allowed to hit open areas, with no immediate reports of injuries.
❗️ HEZBOLLAH DRONES TARGET THE GALILEE: The IDF said several drones launched by Hezbollah toward the Galilee were intercepted earlier.
The military lost contact with some drones, indicating they likely crashed somewhere, and there were no reports of impacts in populated areas.
❗️ SIRENS SOUND ACROSS THE GALILEE: Alerts were activated across the Galilee warning of a Hezbollah drone attack from Lebanon.
The warnings followed earlier IDF interceptions of drones launched from Lebanese territory.
❌ TARGETED OPERATIONS IN BINT JBEIL: The IDF published footage showing the elimination of a Hezbollah operative in the southern Lebanon town of Bint Jbeil using an FPV drone. According to the military, troops from the Egoz commando unit identified and eliminated a Hezbollah cell that had been planning drone attacks on IDF forces in the area.
A short while later, another operative was identified and eliminated using an FPV drone. In a separate incident, the Maglan commando unit identified three more Hezbollah operatives, who were then eliminated in an airstrike.
🎯 IMMINENT ATTACKS FOILED: In a precise drone strike, IDF troops from the Commando Brigade eliminated Hezbollah terrorists who were preparing attacks against forces operating in southern Lebanon. In another incident, three armed terrorists were identified en route to carry out an imminent attack and were subsequently eliminated in a precise aerial strike.
🚀 LAUNCHER DESTROYED: In an additional incident, IDF forces identified a loaded launcher aimed at Israeli territory and destroyed it in a precise drone strike.
🪖 ONGOING OPERATIONS: The IDF said Commando Brigade troops are continuing targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon to strengthen the forward defensive posture and remove threats to Israeli civilians. The military said it will continue operating against the Hezbollah terrorist organization and will not allow threats to Israeli civilians.
