🛡️ ISRAEL, IRAN, AND HEZBOLLAH SIGNAL CONTINUED CONFRONTATION

🇱🇧 According to Maariv, President Trump recently raised the possibility of an Israeli withdrawal from five positions in southern Lebanon and from the Syrian Hermon as part of broader understandings connected to Iran.

Prime Minister Netanyahu reportedly rejected the proposal.

Maariv also reported that the strike in Beirut’s Dahieh district reflected Israeli concerns that Washington may seek to limit Israeli operational freedom in Lebanon amid possible understandings with Tehran.

🔥 Senior Iranian officials issued multiple warnings following the Beirut strike.

Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, accused the United States of failing to restrain Israel and warned that “a strong response is coming.”

Additional statements from senior Iranian military leadership emphasized heightened readiness across missile, naval, drone, and air defense forces.

🏛️ Demonstrations continued outside the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran and Mashhad, with protesters demanding the resignation of Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf.

Amid domestic criticism surrounding the proposed agreement, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Majid Mousavi publicly urged the population to support Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s decisions regarding either acceptance of a deal or military confrontation.

🚀 Cross-border attacks from Lebanon continued throughout the day.

The IDF reported projectile impacts near Neot Mordechai in the Upper Galilee close to Kiryat Shmona, as well as additional impacts near Israeli forces operating inside southern Lebanon.

The military also reported multiple suspicious aerial targets crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory, with several drone impacts identified near the border region.

🎯 The IDF confirmed additional projectile impacts directly targeting areas in southern Lebanon where Israeli ground forces are operating.

The incidents occurred amid continued Israeli military activity in Lebanon following the Beirut strike.

🚢 Yemen’s Houthi-aligned armed forces announced a total maritime traffic ban targeting Israel-linked vessels in the Red Sea.

According to statements carried by Tasnim News Agency, Israeli-linked ships are now considered military targets as part of efforts to increase economic pressure through disruption of maritime trade routes.

📰 Israeli officials and commentators increasingly questioned the absence of international pressure on Hezbollah to halt attacks on northern Israel and on Iran to restrain regional proxy activity.

An Israeli official cited by Yedioth Ahronoth compared criticism directed at Israel’s response with previous American military reactions to attacks on U.S. forces in the region.
