⚠️ Iranian official renews revenge threat Major General Mohsen Rezai, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Commander, declared that pursuing "revenge" is "a legitimate right for the Iranian people."
He said international law gives every nation the right to defend its security, sovereignty, and rights. He further argued that, in Shiite Islam, any attack on Iran's religious leadership is also an affront to Islamic sanctities, making retaliation both a legal right and a religious obligation.
Rezai added: "Those who played a role in this crime have crossed the red lines of the Islamic Republic of Iran and must face decisive punishment."
🛰️ Report claims alleged Iranian plot targeted President Trump: According to Yedioth Ahronoth, intelligence provided by a foreign source warned U.S. authorities of an alleged Iranian assassination plot targeting President Trump during his visit to Turkey.
The report says Western intelligence intercepted Iranian assessments related to an alleged assassination attempt on Turkish soil. The warning reportedly prompted the U.S. Secret Service to issue special security recommendations, including a last-minute decision for President Trump to return to Washington aboard an older aircraft after departing the NATO summit in Ankara.
❗️ FBI assisting investigation into Senator Lindsey Graham's death: Senator Lindsey Graham died at age 71 following what his office described as a "brief and sudden illness." Emergency responders were reportedly called to his Washington home after he experienced chest pains and cardiac arrest.
The FBI is assisting local authorities. However, officials have not publicly indicated that foul play is suspected.
Graham's death has fueled speculation about possible Iranian involvement because of his longstanding support for Israel, his outspoken criticism of Iran, heightened U.S.-Iran tensions, and celebrations of his death by Iranian state media and regime supporters.
At this stage, however, no U.S. law enforcement agency has identified Iran as a suspect, confirmed poisoning, reported the discovery of any toxic substance, or verified claims that Graham recently traveled to Turkey. Possible Iranian involvement remains an unconfirmed theory rather than an established investigative finding.
The FBI's participation means foreign involvement and foul play can be examined and ruled out. By itself, however, it does not indicate authorities believe an assassination occurred. Any definitive conclusions will depend on medical, toxicological, and investigative findings that have not yet been publicly released.
🇮🇱 NETANYAHU PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu honored Senator Lindsey Graham as "a great patriot" and a key champion of the U.S.-Israel alliance, noting his death is mourned in Israel but celebrated in Iran. He said Graham clearly recognized the Iranian regime as a major threat.
Netanyahu emphasized Graham’s belief that Israeli and American security are inseparable, recalling his strong support for increased U.S. military aid, especially missile defense.
On Iran, Netanyahu said President Trump is pursuing diplomacy but remains ready to act militarily if needed, adding that recent U.S.-Israeli efforts pushed back an imminent nuclear threat. He noted Graham consistently urged decisive action against Iran’s nuclear program.
