📃 IRAN REJECTS U.S.-GCC STATEMENT AS NUCLEAR DIPLOMACY CONTINUES

⚠️ IRAN REJECTS U.S.-GCC STATEMENT: Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the June 25 joint statement by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Gulf Cooperation Council foreign ministers as "interventionist, irresponsible, and provocative."

Tehran rejected Washington's stated commitment to Gulf security as "nothing more than rhetoric and a distortion of reality," arguing that the U.S. military presence has become a source of insecurity, division, and instability rather than protection.

Iran also accused the United States of using military bases and facilities in GCC countries to launch attacks against Iran during the recent conflict, saying this showed Washington places little value on the security of regional countries or their bilateral relations.

🌾 TRUMP: IRANIAN ASSETS COULD FUND U.S. AGRICULTURAL PURCHASES: President Trump said the United States will soon use unfrozen Iranian assets to purchase American agricultural products.

"We have a new market coming up, and that's called The Lovely Country of Iran. It's a beautiful place. Would anybody like to go there? They're having a hard time with food and we're going to be taking some of their money and we'll spend it and we're going to be buying wheat, soybeans, and corn, a lot of it, and that process is going to be starting soon. It’s going to be big."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei rejected the remarks, arguing Washington should first address U.S. food insecurity.

"Charity begins at home — and it is desperately needed there."

He cited U.S. hunger statistics, saying more than 47 million Americans struggle with food insecurity, and criticized the USDA's decision to end its long-running household food insecurity report before commenting on hunger elsewhere.

🛡️ NETANYAHU: IRAN WILL NOT OBTAIN A NUCLEAR WEAPON: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated: "As for the regime in Iran, I will say only one thing: with an agreement or without an agreement, as long as I am the Prime Minister of Israel, Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. In no way will we allow Iran to develop nuclear bombs."

🛰️ IAEA AWAITS ACCESS TO IRANIAN NUCLEAR SITES: IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said the agency has a memorandum of understanding to oversee inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities and is ready to resume work in Iran.

He said inspection arrangements and the coordination committee will depend on Iranian-American negotiations.

Grossi added that reducing the concentration of Iran's highly enriched uranium is one proposed solution for Iran's uranium stockpile and that the IAEA believes Iran's nuclear materials have likely not been moved since the last inspection in 2025, but this still requires verification.
