🎯 Senior Hamas commanders targeted in Gaza City: Around 20 minutes ago, an Israeli assassination strike in Gaza City targeted two senior Hamas figures: the commander of Hamas’s Northern Gaza Brigade and the deputy commander of Gaza City, according to Israeli Army Radio.
The strike hit a residential house in Gaza City. Palestinian reports said at least four people were killed and 15 wounded.
The IDF stated: “A short while ago, the IDF struck two central Hamas terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip.“
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the targets were the commander of Hamas’s northern Gaza brigade and his deputy.
💥 Mass evacuation order issued for Tyre amid expanded Lebanon operations: The Arabic-language spokesman for the IDF issued a large-scale evacuation order covering nearly all of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, excluding only the Old City, as well as several nearby towns and communities.
Civilians were instructed to move north of the Zahrani River. The warning cited ongoing Hezbollah activity and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement in the area, amid preparations for expanded Israeli military operations.
Nearly 200,000 civilians are estimated to live across the Tyre metropolitan area.
Israeli strikes were later reported in Tyre against what the IDF said were Hezbollah command centers.
Bint Jbeil Channel reported intensive airstrikes targeting the city, including areas near the Imam Hussein (AS) complex and the central Haballah neighborhood, with extensive damage reported.
Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the IDF did not launch an attack in Beirut due to an American veto.
Channel 14 reported that military assessments indicate a possible ceasefire with Lebanon could occur at any moment, prompting the IDF leadership to seek maximum field gains before any political restrictions are imposed.
