🎯 IDF STRIKES ROCKET LAUNCHERS AND ELIMINATES HEZBOLLAH OPERATIVE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF carried out an additional wave of strikes across Lebanon targeting rocket launchers that had fired toward Israel. During operations conducted in a forward defensive posture, IDF ground forces identified a Hezbollah operative in an area where Israeli troops were operating. An Israeli Air Force aircraft, directed by the troops on the ground, carried out a precision strike that eliminated the operative.
In recent days, the IDF has taken forward defensive positions aimed at creating an additional protective layer along the northern front while removing immediate threats to residents of northern Israel. The military stated the operations are being conducted in response to Hezbollah’s attacks carried out on behalf of the Iranian regime.

🪖 TWO IDF SOLDIERS KILLED IN HEZBOLLAH ATTACK IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Two IDF soldiers were killed early this morning in an attack near an army post in southern Lebanon, opposite the Israeli border community of Manara.
The fallen soldier cleared for publication is Master Sergeant Maher Khatar, 38, from Majdal Shams, a Combat Engineering Corps soldier in the 91st Division who served as a heavy machinery operator in the 91st “Galilee” Regional Division. The name of the second soldier will be released later.
According to a preliminary IDF probe, the incident began when a Puma armored personnel carrier became stuck during operations in the area. Additional forces were dispatched to extract the vehicle, including another Puma APC and two D9 armored bulldozers.
During the recovery effort, one of the D9 bulldozers was struck by a projectile, possibly an anti-tank missile or mortar. The impact caused a fire that killed the two soldiers. One officer was also lightly wounded in the incident.
🪖 NORTHERN COMMAND SUMMARIZES WEEK OF STRIKES ACROSS LEBANON SECTOR: Following Hezbollah’s decision last week to join the fighting on behalf of the Iranian regime, the IDF Northern Command assumed full operational responsibility for the entire Lebanon sector and rapidly transitioned to offensive operations.
Over the past week, Israeli forces struck more than 600 terror targets across Lebanon from the air, sea, and ground, using approximately 820 munitions. During the operations, over 190 terrorists were eliminated, including Abu Hamza Rami, the Islamic Jihad commander in Lebanon with the equivalent rank of major general, along with two commanders of colonel rank and three battalion commanders.
The IDF also reported 27 waves of strikes in the Beirut region, including five in the Dahieh area, a Hezbollah stronghold. According to the military, prior operational preparations enabled the Northern Command to move quickly into offensive activity and establish a forward defensive posture along the border.
Within about one hour of the first rocket barrage launched toward Israel, Israeli forces began striking Hezbollah targets and seized full operational initiative. Northern Command continues providing extensive fire support to troops operating in forward defensive positions inside the security zone while eliminating threats in real time.
