🕯️ Captain David Hazutt killed during encounter with Hezbollah terrorist: The IDF announced the death of Captain David Hazutt, 21, a platoon commander in Golani Brigade's 12th Battalion from Ashkelon, during overnight operations in the village of Deir Siryan.
According to the IDF's initial investigation, Golani soldiers encountered a Hezbollah operative after entering a structure at approximately 2:00 a.m. During the exchange of fire, Captain Hazutt was killed and another soldier was lightly wounded. The wounded soldier was evacuated for medical treatment, and his family has been notified. Following the incident, Israeli forces conducted searches for the terrorist and struck Hezbollah sites in the area.

🌍 Diplomatic framework for Lebanon advances toward implementation: According to a diplomatic source cited by Al-Jadeed, an American-Lebanese-Israeli coordination team is expected to begin work early next week on defining two agreed regions inside and outside the Yellow Line while establishing a timetable for Israeli withdrawal through the MTC Committee.
The source said the framework follows the model of the recent Iranian-American memorandum of understanding, under which broad principles are agreed while implementation details continue to be negotiated. Military assistance is expected to be coordinated through the Lebanese Army with support from the United States, Britain, and France, while broader Arab participation would be addressed following an Israeli withdrawal. A forthcoming U.S. announcement is also expected to include guarantees supporting the Lebanese Army, reconstruction efforts, and the return of displaced residents.
