💥 IDF OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF stated that more than 70 Hezbollah infrastructure sites were struck across southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours, including launchers and structures used to support attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF forces. The military said operations against Hezbollah infrastructure and operational threats are continuing throughout southern Lebanon.
The IDF also announced that soldiers identified two Hezbollah terrorist cells operating from an underground route used to store ammunition, mortars, and food supplies supporting attacks against Israeli forces. In coordination with the Israeli Air Force, artillery forces, and aerial defense systems, Israeli troops eliminated all seven terrorists. Israeli forces later located Kalashnikov rifles, launch positions, military equipment, and additional weapons near the route before dismantling the infrastructure.
The military further revealed that more than 10 Hezbollah field commanders have recently been eliminated, including multiple successors appointed after previous commanders were killed. According to the IDF, more than 1,300 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated across Lebanon since the implementation of the ceasefire understandings.
Among the commanders named by the IDF were Nasser Unit commander Hajj Salameh and his successors Mahdi Bazzi and Ashraf Salloum. The military also stated that Shaqif Sector commander Nasser Shaqir and his successor Ahmad Sablini were eliminated within less than 12 hours of one another. Additional commanders recently eliminated included Ali Abbas, Kamil Younes, Fuad Moussa, Hussein Salami, Ali Khayekh, and Musallam Harb, who commanded the Bint Jbeil, Tyre, Hajir, Jibshit, al-Khiam, and Qana sectors.
