🎯 IDF EXPANDS OPERATIONS AGAINST HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON

🎯 IDF OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF released footage from ongoing operations targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and operatives in southern Lebanon. Israeli Air Force strikes directed by ground forces dismantled five Hezbollah rocket launchers used against IDF troops, including a launcher mounted on a vehicle.

The military also struck a Hezbollah command center and operatives identified near Israeli forces. Troops from the 36th Division continue operations in southern Lebanon, including underground-clearing activity beneath the Beaufort Ridge.

🛰️ HEZBOLLAH TUNNEL NETWORK UNDER BEAUFORT RIDGE: The IDF released footage from Hezbollah’s underground tunnel system beneath the Beaufort Ridge, which the military said was planned and financed by Iran and served as a major Hezbollah operational asset.

During clearing operations, troops located large quantities of weapons, including mortar shells, RPG launchers, Kornet anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft machine guns, grenades, and Kalashnikov rifles.

According to the IDF, drones operating inside the tunnels identified Hezbollah operatives underground. The operatives fled deeper into the network and opened fire toward the drones before later attempting to escape through the tunnel routes. Guided by ground forces, the Israeli Air Force struck and eliminated the operatives.

Troops also uncovered maps showing how the Beaufort Ridge was used to target northern Israeli communities. The military stated the operation is intended to dismantle Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure and remove threats posed to northern Israel from the ridge area.

📍 POLITICAL AND MILITARY DEVELOPMENTS IN LEBANON: Israeli Army Radio reported that IDF forces advanced to within several kilometers of Nabatieh and are awaiting further political direction.

An Israeli official told the Israeli Broadcasting Authority that Lebanese Army Commander Rodolph Haykal “fully cooperates with Hezbollah and refuses to implement the government's decision to restrict weapons.”

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that Lebanon’s future “is in the hands of the Lebanese, not in the hands of Iran or Israel,” rejecting Iranian influence over Lebanese decision-making.

Hezbollah MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan accused Aoun of deepening internal divisions and adopting positions serving Israeli interests, while calling for dialogue with the “resistance” regarding Lebanon’s security strategy.
