β Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force eliminated approximately 15 Hezbollah terrorists operating near IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon. The operatives were identified as posing a threat to Israeli forces.
IDF troops dismantled Hezbollah rocket launchers in several areas across southern Lebanon. The launchers were aimed toward Israeli territory and IDF soldiers operating in the area.
During a targeted operation in the Rashaf area, IDF soldiers located a Hezbollah weapons storage facility containing Kalashnikov rifles, explosive devices, rockets, and additional combat equipment.
β οΈ Multiple hostile aircraft infiltration alerts were activated in northern Israel, including in Manara and Margaliot. Hezbollah launched explosive drones and suspicious aerial targets toward Israeli territory and areas where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli Air Force intercepted several UAVs before they crossed into Israeli territory. Additional drones detonated near the Israel-Lebanon border, while contact with several aerial targets was lost. No injuries were reported.
Earlier, an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious aerial target near IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. Contact with the target was later lost, and no sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
β οΈ The IDF is beginning to introduce anti-drone systems inspired by lessons from the Russian-Ukrainian war. The systems include rotating barbed-wire mechanisms designed to sever fiber-optic drone cables, alongside expanded radar integration, defensive networks, and interceptor drones.
Israeli Army Radio reported that the IDF has also received tens of thousands of fragmentation rounds for distribution among forces operating in Lebanon to help counter Hezbollah drone threats.
π½ Microsoft fired Alon Haimovich, the general manager of its Israeli subsidiary, along with other senior managers following an internal investigation. The probe was linked to a 2025 report by The Guardian and +972 Magazine alleging that the IDF Military Intelligence Directorate (AMAN) used Microsoft Azure cloud servers to store intercepted mass-surveillance data on Palestinians in Gaza and Judea and Samaria.
