❌ TARGETED ELIMINATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF says it eliminated 15 Hezbollah operatives in a recent airstrike in the western sector of southern Lebanon during ongoing ground operations.
Troops identified the operatives in their area of operations, and the Israeli Air Force struck them a short while later.
In a separate incident, the IDF says the Artillery Regiment identified a Hezbollah cell planning to fire anti-tank missiles at Israel.
An Israeli Air Force fighter jet then struck and eliminated the operatives.
❌ CLOSE-RANGE THREATS AND WEAPONS SEIZURES: The IDF says soldiers also eliminated armed Hezbollah terrorists who approached them and posed a threat earlier this week.
The strike was carried out after the operatives were identified by troops during operations in southern Lebanon.
The military published footage showing an airstrike on Hezbollah gunmen identified by Givati Brigade troops on Wednesday.
The IDF also says the troops located numerous weapons and military equipment in the area, including rifles, RPGs, ammunition magazines, and additional weapons.
🛡️ SCALE OF OPERATIONS IN LEBANON: The IDF says that over the past month, approximately 1,000 terrorists have been eliminated and more than 3,500 targets have been struck across Lebanon.
The military says operations in southern Lebanon are being carried out through targeted ground activity alongside strikes from the air, sea, and land against Hezbollah centers of gravity.
According to the IDF, the 91st, 146th, 36th, and 162nd Divisions are leading the ground effort in southern Lebanon.
The operations include targeted raids, dismantling of terrorist infrastructure, and the elimination of terrorists, while further degrading Hezbollah’s capabilities and pushing the group out of the area.
The IDF says those eliminated include many senior commanders and hundreds of Radwan Force operatives.
The strikes have targeted terrorist infrastructure, weapons storage facilities, launch positions, and command and control headquarters.
The military also says it struck key assets and financial storage sites of the “Al-Qard al-Hasan” Association.
According to the IDF, the organization operates as a parallel banking system in Lebanon, exploits civilian funds, and receives money from Iran to finance Hezbollah.
Five central bridges used to transfer weapons and enemy forces from north to south Lebanon were also struck.
The IDF says these attacks caused significant damage to Hezbollah’s finances.
