In a separate strike last week, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Fuad Khalil Khalas, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who also participated in planting explosive devices and operations against IDF forces. The IDF said both had recently advanced attacks against troops and Israeli civilians in systematic violation of the ceasefire and were eliminated to remove the threats they posed.
⚔️ TWO IDF SOLDIERS LIGHTLY WOUNDED IN HEZBOLLAH CLASH NEAR BEAUFORT: A Hezbollah terrorist hiding inside a building opened fire on Golani Brigade Reconnaissance Unit troops conducting scans in the Beaufort area of southern Lebanon earlier today. Two soldiers were lightly wounded and evacuated for medical treatment. Their families were notified. The troops returned fire and carried out artillery fire toward the building, eliminating the Hezbollah terrorist. The IDF subsequently struck Hezbollah weapons storage facilities, command centers and additional terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon in response to the attack.
⚔️ HEZBOLLAH LAUNCHES EXPLOSIVE DRONES FOR THIRD TIME IN A WEEK: Hezbollah launched two explosive drones overnight toward IDF troops operating in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area within the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. No IDF injuries were reported. The military said this was the third time within a week that Hezbollah launched explosive drones at Israeli troops operating in the area.
💥 The IDF responded by striking several Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites across southern Lebanon, including a weapons storage facility. The military also struck Hezbollah terrorists identified transferring weapons in the Kfar Reman area, saying the strikes were carried out to remove the threat they posed to IDF soldiers. The IDF said precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used before the strikes to mitigate harm to uninvolved individuals. Lebanese media reported that 11 people, including two children, were killed in strikes in Kfar Reman. The IDF said reports that uninvolved civilians were harmed are being reviewed.
