💣 EXPLOSIVES LAB DISMANTLED IN TULKAREM: Following intelligence indications, IDF soldiers located and dismantled an explosives manufacturing lab in Tulkarem on Friday.
Troops found large quantities of weapons and explosive materials, including approximately 200 pipe bombs, fire extinguishers intended for use as explosive charges attached to vehicles, large gas cylinders with the potential to be used as under-vehicle explosive devices targeting armored vehicles, and more than 50 kilograms of improvised explosive material.
According to the IDF, the explosives were intended for attacks against soldiers operating in Judea and Samaria and for terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians. The laboratory had been operating prior to the start of the IDF’s counterterrorism activity in northern Samaria.
IDF operations in the area have been ongoing for more than a year, during which troops have located weapons, ammunition, and explosive devices used by terrorist networks that posed a threat to Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.
🪧 RIOT IN DAYR JARIR ENDS WITH ONE FATALITY: Earlier Friday, IDF soldiers were dispatched to the Dayr Jarir area following reports of Palestinians hurling rocks toward Israeli civilians in the vicinity.
According to an initial inquiry, a violent riot developed when forces arrived at the scene, including stone-throwing toward the soldiers. A reservist soldier carried out a suspect apprehension procedure that included warning shots into the air, followed by fire toward one of the assailants.
The suspect was injured and evacuated for medical treatment, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Soldiers at the scene acted to disperse those involved in the disturbance, and the incident is under review by the relevant authorities.
🩸 SOLDIER SEVERELY INJURED IN CENTRAL GAZA: An IDF soldier was severely injured Friday as a result of an operational accident in central Gaza. The soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family has been notified.
🛡️ HOME FRONT COMMAND UPDATES DEFENSIVE GUIDELINES: The IDF said updated defensive guidelines were approved in coordination with the Home Front Command following an ongoing situational assessment.
The changes took effect on Friday, April 11, 2026, at 20:00 and will remain in place until Monday, April 13, 2026, at 18:00.
Frontline areas will remain under a limited activity level, with no educational activities and gatherings and services permitted for up to 50 people outdoors and up to 100 people indoors.
In the Upper Galilee, educational activities may be conducted only within a protected space, with exceptions for specific communities detailed separately.
The Haifa Bay guidance area will move from limited activity to partial activity. Educational activity may be held in locations from which a protected space can be reached within the required protection time, while gatherings and services will be permitted for up to 100 people outdoors and up to 400 people indoors.
All other Home Front Command guidelines remain unchanged.
