🌍 DIPLOMATIC TALKS, REPORTED FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT, AND U.S.-ISRAEL COORDINATION

🤝 REPORTED NEGOTIATIONS AND STRIKE CANCELLATION: President Trump announced that planned U.S. strikes against Iran had been canceled after discussions with Iranian leadership advanced toward what he described as an emerging framework agreement. He claimed discussions had been approved “in both concept and great detail” by the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and additional parties.

Trump stated that the naval blockade on Iran would remain in place until the “transaction” was finalized and claimed a deal could be completed within days. He added that Vice President JD Vance could attend a signing ceremony in Europe if an agreement were finalized.

According to POLITICO and The New York Times, Pakistan, the UAE, and Qatar urged Trump to halt strikes after informing Washington that a preliminary agreement with Tehran was within reach. Axios later reported that U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft departed for Europe carrying equipment connected to preparations for a possible Geneva signing ceremony involving Vice President Vance.

⚠️ DISPUTES OVER FINAL APPROVAL: Iranian, Israeli, and Gulf sources nevertheless stated that no final agreement had yet been approved. Iran’s Foreign Ministry described reports of an agreement as speculation, while an Iranian military official said no approval had been granted by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Israeli and Gulf sources speaking to Channel 13 similarly said they were unaware of any finalized arrangement.

Axios reported that Qatari and Iranian negotiators believed they had reached an agreed text acceptable to the United States. Reported discussions focused on release of frozen Iranian assets, reopening the Strait of Hormuz during a proposed 60-day ceasefire, and frameworks for nuclear negotiations during the ceasefire period.

Fars News cited a source close to the Iranian negotiating team saying that no memorandum had yet been approved, although the likelihood of approval was considered “relatively high” after Washington reportedly accepted Iran’s proposed text.

Mehr News reported that the proposed memorandum included commitments involving sanctions relief, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, withdrawal of U.S. forces from around Iran, release of frozen Iranian funds, and future negotiations focused on nuclear and economic issues without addressing Iran’s missile program.

🇺🇸 U.S.-ISRAEL COORDINATION: According to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, Washington informed Israel that any military action against Iran at this stage would be conducted solely by the United States. A senior Israeli official described the message as a “red light” instructing Israel not to interfere while diplomatic efforts continued.

The report stated that U.S. officials were attempting to prevent broader regional expansion of the conflict while maintaining negotiations connected to Iran’s nuclear program. The same official said the IDF was also preparing for the possibility that the United States could later authorize Israeli operations.

🛰️ REGIONAL SPACEX-RELATED THREATS: IRGC-affiliated Fars News published a list of companies and investors it claimed were connected to SpaceX through partnerships or shareholdings. The report named Elcome International, Qatar Airways, and Alghanim Industries as regional partners, while identifying Alwaleed bin Talal, the Kuwait Investment Authority, the Qatar Investment Authority, and MGX as regional shareholders.
