💥 US STRIKES REPORTED ON QESHM ISLAND AND IN AHVAZ: Initial reports indicate that US forces struck Qeshm Island in southern Iran. Iran’s IRNA news agency said field sources were conducting damage “initial assessments” before releasing a supplementary report.
Iranian media also reported explosions in Ahvaz in southwestern Iran. US airstrikes were reported in both locations.
💥 IRGC CLAIMS MISSILE AND DRONE ATTACKS ON U.S. BASES IN BAHRAIN AND KUWAIT: Third wave of Operation Nasr 2. The IRGC claimed that its Navy and Aerospace Forces carried out simultaneous missile and drone attacks against Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Ali al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait.
Further attacks threatened. The IRGC said its retaliation would continue for as long as U.S. military action continues and warned that renewed attacks would face “surprising responses.”
It also threatened that “not a drop of oil and gas will be exported from the region” while U.S. forces remain there, and claimed that continued military action would only delay the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
⚠️ IRAN VOWS TO PRESERVE ITS NUCLEAR ACHIEVEMENTS AND HORMUZ LEVERAGE: Ali Bagheri, Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said: “Iran's path forward is clear based on the indicators outlined by the Supreme Leader. We must always preserve the nuclear achievements and the issue of the Strait of Hormuz. The bloodlust of the martyred leader, resistance to American bullying and excesses, as well as preserving and consolidating the country's achievements are at the forefront of our policies.”
🔸 LEBANON PRESSES FOR A TIMELINE AS ISRAEL SHIFTS TALKS TO ROME: Lebanese diplomatic sources told Al-Jadeed that Beirut sees a “real opportunity to achieve” a gradual Israeli withdrawal through the Rome framework after Israel shifted negotiations from Washington.
The move was described as a possible Israeli “route of escape” from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who continues to “strongly push for the implementation” of proposed pilot zones. According to the report, the shift indicates an Israeli effort to bypass US executive pressure over the timeline for an IDF redeployment.
The US State Department characterized the Rome talks between Lebanon and Israel as “fruitful.” The parties are scheduled to continue negotiations tomorrow, according to Al Jazeera.
Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri described the round as a “test of the Israeli side's seriousness.” He called on Washington to move from serving as a sponsor to acting as an active mediator and to “redress the balance of power” through direct political and moral pressure.
Lebanon prioritized a phased Israeli withdrawal from what it called “occupied and unoccupied villages,” citing Froun as a possible confidence-building measure.
Mitri also highlighted what he described as a critical risk: the current Washington-brokered framework contains “no reference to a timeline” for an Israeli redeployment.
🎯 IDF ELIMINATES SENIOR HAMAS SECURITY COMMANDER AND THREE TERRORISTS: The IDF struck in the northern Gaza Strip and eliminated Mohammed Marwan Mohammed Salem, Head of Military Security for Hamas’ Central Jabaliya Battalion.
Three additional Hamas terrorists were eliminated alongside him:
Abd al-Malek Abu al-Jabin, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ Central Jabaliya Battalion and Head of the Investigations Department in the Hamas Police.
Yaman Mohammed Jibril Ubaid, a terrorist in Hamas’ Central Jabaliya Battalion.
Ghassan Akram Salama Dakas, a terrorist in Hamas’ Western Jabaliya Battalion and an operative in the Hamas Police.
According to the IDF, the terrorists had gathered in recent months to plan and carry out terror attacks. They were eliminated to remove the threat.
