🛡️ LEBANON AND GAZA: IDF STRIKES HEZBOLLAH AFTER DRONE ATTACK, HAMAS HOSTAGE-GUARD COMMANDER ELIMINATED

🛡️ HEZBOLLAH DRONES TARGET IDF TROOPS, IDF STRIKES NABATIEH: Hezbollah launched two explosive drones overnight toward IDF soldiers operating at the Ali-Taher Ridge inside the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. IDF troops opened fire and downed one drone, while contact was lost with the second. No Israeli soldiers were injured.

In response, the IDF carried out a series of strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area, including weapons storage facilities that the military said were established to support attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.

Hezbollah has a major underground facility beneath the Ali-Taher Ridge, and several operatives are believed by the IDF to remain holed up there.

“The IDF will not allow the Hezbollah terror organization to operate against IDF troops in the security zone. The IDF is currently operating and will continue to operate forcefully against its repeated attempts to harm IDF troops,” the military said.

The IDF is also promising “significant strikes” against Hezbollah following the violations. The extent of that promised response remains to be seen.

🎯 HAMAS COMMANDER WHO HELD THREE HOSTAGES ELIMINATED: The IDF announced that it eliminated Ismail Mohammed Ibrahim Barim, a commander in Hamas’ military wing, in a strike in the Khan Yunis area yesterday.

According to the IDF, Barim took part in holding Edan Alexander, Matan Zangauker, and Avera Mengistu hostage in a tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip.

The military said Barim had recently been advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and attempting to rehabilitate Hamas capabilities “while systematically violating the ceasefire.”

“The strike was carried out to remove the threat,” the IDF said.

💥 GAZA CITY STRIKE AND KATZ WARNING: Palestinian media reported one person killed and several wounded in an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City. The IDF said it targeted a terrorist operative and that further details would be provided later.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said during an IDF situational assessment: “The deadline of the ultimatum we set has expired—any launch of balloons or kites from Gaza toward communities in southern Israel will be met with a severe response.”

✈️ IDF AIRCRAFT MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING: Earlier today, an IDF remotely piloted aircraft made an emergency landing in the Shokeda area of the western Negev due to a technical malfunction. IDF forces were dispatched to the area and safely recovered the aircraft. The incident is under investigation.
