💥 U.S. LAUNCHES NEW STRIKE WAVES AGAINST IRAN: U.S. Central Command announced additional strikes aimed at degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM said one wave began at 6:00 a.m. ET, followed by an additional round at 3:00 p.m. ET.
“At 6 a.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching a wave of strikes against Iran. The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.”
⚓ U.S. RESUMES NAVAL BLOCKADE: The strikes took place as American forces resumed the naval blockade of Iranian ports and coastal areas.
CENTCOM said two commercial vessels attempting to breach the blockade were redirected during its first 17 hours.
“The U.S. military remains vigilant and prepared to ensure full compliance.”
💥 SEVEN IRANIAN SOLDIERS KILLED IN BAMPUR: An earlier U.S. strike targeted soldiers’ barracks at an Iranian military base in Bampur, in Sistan and Baluchistan Province.
The Iranian Army said: “7 of our forces were killed in American attacks on a military base in the city of Bampur in the Sistan and Baluchistan Province early this morning.”
🚧 STRAIT REMAINS CLOSED AS IRAN FIRES WARNING SHOTS: An IRIB correspondent reported that the Strait of Hormuz “remains closed” after the Iranian Navy fired warning shots during the past 24 hours, forcing at least two vessels to stop.
The IRGC threatened to extend the disruption to additional regional energy routes:
“The enemy should expect the closure of other oil and gas export routes that serve the interests of America and its allies. Either oil and gas exports in the region should be available to everyone, or to no one.”
🇦🇪 UAE RECEIVES EXPANDED ACCESS TO U.S. AI CHIPS: The Wall Street Journal reported that the United Arab Emirates received expanded access to coveted American artificial-intelligence chips after assisting the United States in recent months.
The UAE reportedly conducted dozens of strikes against Iran, intercepted hundreds of missiles and helped keep oil moving through the Strait of Hormuz.
❗️ TRUMP CONSIDERS BROADER OFFENSIVE INSIDE IRAN: President Donald Trump held a Situation Room meeting Tuesday to discuss a potentially wider military campaign extending beyond current operations around the Strait of Hormuz, according to Axios.
The proposed campaign could include strategic targets inside Iran. Sources told Axios that Trump appeared open to escalating military action to pressure Tehran to reopen the strait and accept U.S. demands concerning its nuclear program.
Trump said the United States would intensify its attacks unless Iran agrees to negotiations:
“Next week we will strike the power stations and bridges if the Iranians do not come to the negotiating table.”
Al Arabiya English reported that participants included Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine and presidential envoy Steve Witkoff.
The meeting coincided with the U.S. naval blockade officially taking effect Tuesday afternoon.
🚀 U.S. STRIKES IRAN FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE DAY: The U.S. military continued targeting Iranian air-defense systems, radars and missile-launch sites along Iran’s southern coast.
Iran continued launching missiles and drones toward U.S. bases in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Footage showed an Iranian Shahed drone directly striking a target in Kuwait and an Iranian missile impact in Bahrain.
Tasnim released footage of Kheibar Shekan, Zulfiqar and Fateh-110 missile launches during what Iran described as the third through seventh waves of “Operation Nasr 2.”
