🛰️ ISRAEL ASSESSES WASHINGTON IS PREPARING A MAJOR OPERATION IN IRAN: The assessment is reportedly based on U.S. target maps.
Iranian reporting described the overnight attacks as the fifth consecutive night. U.S. Central Command said American forces had begun a sixth consecutive night of strikes intended to further degrade Iranian military capabilities.
💥 U.S. STRIKES EXPANDED ACROSS SOUTHERN IRAN: Attacks were reported in Bandar Abbas, Bandar Khamir, Qeshm Island, Iranshahr, Sirik, Bushehr, Bandar Lengeh, Chabahar, Ahvaz and Lorestan Province.
Targets included bridges, the Bandar Abbas railway junction, Iranshahr Airport, communications infrastructure, an air base, a naval base and the Chabahar Port naval watchtower. Iranian authorities reported widespread power, utility and communications disruptions.
Multiple locations in Bandar Abbas were struck at approximately 9:35 PM. Iranian media reported seven explosions in the city and three in Ahvaz.
Around 11:00 PM, strikes hit Bandar Khamir and the Kahorstan region, including the critical road connecting Bandar Abbas with Shiraz. At least six bridges were reportedly attacked in recent hours.
The Kohourestan, Girveh, Latidan and Maru Village bridges were among those struck. Hormozgan authorities said the attacks incapacitated the Kohourestan and Girveh bridges and completely blocked the Bandar Abbas-Khamir-Lar and Keshar-Kohourestan transit routes.
Vehicles were reportedly crossing the Kohourestan Shor River bridge when it was hit.
A U.S. official told The Wall Street Journal that the bridge strikes were intended to cut supplies to Bandar Abbas, which was “used for attacks on maritime vessels.”
Iranian authorities issued evolving casualty figures. Hormozgan Governorate ultimately reported seven fatalities and nine injuries from strikes on bridges in Khamir County. Separate Iranian reporting said attacks on Hormozgan infrastructure killed eight citizens.
A “telecommunications tower” in Bandar Abbas’s Tappe Allah Akbar residential neighborhood was struck. Iranian medical officials reported one fatality and eight injuries, including seven people affected by the blast wave and one who suffered a fracture.
A separate strike on the Bandar Abbas railway junction injured two civilians.
Ten explosions were reported near Masen village on Qeshm Island under continuous fighter-aircraft activity. Four additional explosions were reported along the island’s southern coast.
At least one U.S. projectile struck Iranshahr Airport in Sistan and Baluchistan Province. Three high-intensity explosions were reported near the airfield. Iranian authorities later said one person was injured and the airport’s electrical infrastructure and fuel-storage tanks were damaged.
U.S. missiles struck areas near Sirik at approximately 11:34 PM.
Around 1:00 AM, missiles struck an air base and a naval base in Bushehr, followed by secondary strikes against two additional locations, according to the provincial governor.
At approximately 1:30 AM, projectiles struck near Bandar Lengeh. A separate strike was confirmed in the Visian district of Lorestan Province.
U.S. fighter jets also struck the Chabahar Port naval watchtower with three missiles, reportedly marking the third attack on the facility in recent days.
Iran’s Health Ministry said casualties from the “July war” had exceeded 400, with 38 people killed and 47 hospitalized.
