❌ TWO TERRORISTS ELIMINATED AFTER STABBING ATTACK: A 51-year-old Israeli civilian was seriously wounded in a stabbing attack at the Derech Avraham outpost, also known as Avraham’s Way Farm, near Elon Moreh.
The attack occurred as civilians attempted to extinguish a fire in the area adjacent to Itamar. According to the IDF, the victim had arrived to help extinguish a fire set by Palestinians from the nearby town of Beit Furik when two terrorists stabbed him in the chest.
The wounded civilian was evacuated by a Unit 669 helicopter for further treatment at a hospital.
The IDF said another Israeli civilian at the scene identified the attack and eliminated both terrorists. Earlier reporting had not established whether security forces or armed civilians fired the shots.
IDF soldiers are conducting searches and have imposed a temporary cordon around Beit Furik.
Investigators from Israel Fire and Rescue Services and Israel Police have begun examining the circumstances surrounding the fire.
🛰️ IDF ABORTED DRONE STRIKE NEAR SYRIAN BORDER: The IDF aborted a drone strike near the Syrian border around two weeks ago after determining that five suspected infiltrators were members of the right-wing religious Jewish group 'Pioneers of the Bashan', which advocates for Jewish settlement in Syrian territory.
A Hermes 450 drone had been deployed for the strike. The operation was canceled at the last moment after an observer noticed that the group members were wearing payot, the sidelocks commonly worn by many religious Jews.
The group denied the report and claimed that the IDF had been notified of its presence in advance.
