⚠️ PRESIDENT TRUMP ISSUES SHARP WARNING TO IRAN: President Trump said the U.S. is prepared to completely dismantle Iran's infrastructure "in a small part of an afternoon" if diplomacy fails.
"We're going to win one way or the other. We're going to make a deal or we're going to finish the job, okay. And it won't be tough to finish the job."
"I'd rather make a deal, because I don't want to affect 91 million people. We can knock down their bridges in one hour. We can knock out their energy supply."
"We can knock out their electricity and power generating plants. And I would say in a small part of an afternoon, every plant will be gone. And they know that."
Trump also claimed the Iranians "are begging to make a deal," saying both sides agreed to pause talks until after former Leader Ali Khamenei's funeral, and that neither side would fire on the other during that period, according to Axios.
According to Axios, Trump also said the U.S. could strike Iran's leadership gathered for Khamenei's funeral but would not do so in order to preserve nuclear negotiations: "They are all there. One shot [and we can take them all out], but we are not going to do that because then we would have nobody to negotiate with."
🔸 NEW U.S.-IRAN TALKS REPORTEDLY SCHEDULED: The United States and Iran are continuing efforts to reach a new agreement, with Arab media reporting that the two sides have set a new date and location for talks.
According to the reports, the meeting will take place after Ali Khamenei's funeral and will be held in Pakistan instead of the previously planned location. After months of negotiations, the question remains whether the sides can finally reach an agreement.
🇮🇷 KHAMENEI FUNERAL DRAWS MILLIONS AMID SECURITY FEARS AND REVENGE CALLS: The funeral ceremony for former Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei continued, drawing millions of attendees, with participants holding signs calling for revenge against President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu.
According to The New York Times, Mojtaba Khamenei requested to attend his father's funeral in Mashhad on Thursday, but Iranian security officials denied the request over fears Israel could attempt to eliminate him during the ceremony or use the event to identify his location.
All of former Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei's sons were present at the Grand Mosalla of Tehran, except for Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf declared during the funeral: "The fruit of Khamenei's blood will be the liberation of Quds [Jerusalem]."
🇮🇱 ISRAEL DENIES REPORT ON IRANIAN NEGOTIATORS AS KATZ WARNS IRANIAN LEADERSHIP: The Prime Minister's Office rejected a New York Times report claiming U.S. officials believed Israel was planning to assassinate Iranian negotiators during this spring's talks, calling it "a complete fabrication of reality."
Defense Minister Israel Katz said: "Ayatollah Khamenei, whose funeral is currently taking place, has been eliminated by Israel because he was the initiator and leader of the plan to destroy Israel, both in Iran and in the region. The destroyer has been eliminated. Any Iranian leader who attempts to promote plans to destroy Israel again will also be eliminated."
