📍 SHAYETET 13 COMMANDOS NEAR HEBRON: Footage published by Palestinian media shows commandos from the Israeli Navy’s Shayetet 13 unit rappelling from a helicopter overnight in Yatta, near Hebron, in southern Judea and Samaria. The IDF has not yet commented on the video or the operation.

🇮🇱 IDF CHIEF DEFENDS TROOPS AND COMMANDERS: Speaking at an appreciation event for donors to the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel’s Soldiers, the IDF Chief of the General Staff said:

“The expression ‘all of Israel is responsible for one another’ is also the deepest expression of the individual’s responsibility for the wellbeing of the entire nation. This important principle is reflected in the attempts to slander IDF troops and commanders in various ways, through the use of baseless lies and manipulations.”

“This is a national and international mission, and we must uphold it on every platform and in the face of every claim, and say clearly: The IDF is the most moral military in the world.”

“In the face of deliberate attacks on our civilians, in the face of a barbaric assault deliberately targeted at a civilian population, and in the face of missiles launched at our cities, we adhere to the values of the IDF and to international law, and do everything in our power to avoid harm to innocent civilians.”

⚠️ HAMAS DISARMAMENT AND IDF READINESS: Defense Minister Katz said: “There is a commitment by the U.S. and the participating countries to disarm Hamas and destroy all the tunnels.”

He added: “We all understand that this will not happen, and the IDF is prepared, if given the order, to eliminate Hamas and finish the job.”

⚓ HOUTHI MINES REPORTED NEAR BAB AL-MANDAB: Yemeni military sources said the Houthis had laid marine mines in waters near the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait, according to the German Press Agency (DPA).

🗳️ EISENKOT DENIES PROMISING TO INCLUDE RA’AM IN NEXT GOVERNMENT: Mu’id al-Heib, head of the Tuba-Zangariyye local council, disputed Yashar!’s account of support for Gadi Eisenkot. Speaking to Radio an-Nas, he said: “We did not announce our support for him; rather, we demanded that Ra’am be included in the next government, and he promised us that he would do so.”

Eisenkot explicitly denied making that commitment: “Did I promise that Abbas would be in the government? That’s an absolute lie.”

Yashar! also rejected the allegation, saying: “These things were never said, not even by implication.”

The party said participation in a government it forms would require recognition of the values of the Declaration of Independence, recognition of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, and “Service for all.” It added that parties that do not recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization that Israel has a duty to destroy would not be included.

The dispute concerns both whether support for Eisenkot was announced and whether he promised to include Ra’am in a future government. Yashar!’s statement sets conditions for coalition participation but does not explicitly name Ra’am as either an accepted or excluded partner.
